The amuse bouche was a was zucchini puree soup. Needed a touch of salt. The appetizer was eggplant with tomato, fresh mozzarella, and a cannelloni (topped with a slice of dried ham) stuffed with an herby ricotta stuffing. The amuse and appetizer were served cold and both were good, not astonishing. My main was faggottini with jamon, a cream sauce, and speck. Part of the pleasure of fagottini is its fun shape, but I felt it could've been rolled a bit thinner. Tasty overall. The date's risotto with shrimp was a bit dry but quite herby and flavorful. She felt it was only so-so. For some reason the entire meal lent itself to fast eating. I enjoyed the outdoor ambience, but our meals were only good and not exactly memorable. 3.4 rounded down. read more
