I've been here three times with my husband, and we've never been disappointed. The food and the service are always great. Definitely recommend.

my best friend and I go here every once in a while for breakfast because the food is absolutely amazing, so amazing that we forgot to take a picture!! The service is always impeccable. I can never complain. Our waitress was fantastic! The waiting area is a little small but there was no wait and we were seated promptly. Le peep offers booth style seating and tables. we both had ordered the pumpkin caramel latte with almond milk, we have had coffee from here before that was much better, but this one did not hit the spot. However, I ordered the Sriracha Benedict with no feta and peasant potatoes. Le peep has the best peasant potatoes I have ever had. They're very well seasoned. My eggs were fantastic and the bacon was extra crispy. My Bestie had got the fall trio on the specials menu with a small pumpkin waffle with cream cheese icing, and a bowl of sweet potato hash with an egg on top and crispy bacon as well. We both enjoyed our food very much. I had tried the pumpkin waffle and it was absolutely delicious! Le peep is always fantastic.

Le Peep owes me nothing with the way they make breakfast. I stopped by on a Monday morning. Seated and greeted immediately. I needed time to look at the menu and the server answered every question I had. I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese, turkey bacon and pancakes. I saw they had banana foster waffles and when I asked can they do it for pancakes and she said yes I was a happy camper. The food came out so quick I wondered if it was hot. Happy to report the food was hot, fresh and tasty. The pancakes were my favorite part of the meal. Solid experience.

Ordered Le Peep for breakfast for delivery to my hotel. The Rock Lobster Scramble was missing the side of English muffin. The Avocado Toast Benedict is missing the included bacon and had an eggshell in my egg. The "served with fruit" was just an ounce of canned apples. The Peasant potatoes are undercooked and hard. The kids liked the Fried Oreo pancakes though.

Visited for the first time after hearing good things about this place. We were in the area and decided to stop by for breakfast. Ladies in the front were really nice and accommodate us for a booth because it's easier with our toddler. We were seated and our waitress came over right away and was really good. The menu has so many options and everything sounds delicious. I ordered pancakes, eggs, bacon and potatoes. My husband had a skillet and my son had a happy face pancake. The potatoes left a lot to be desired but everything else was good. Price was great also. Will definitely be back if we're in the area

It's a comfy homey brunch place in Edison! The menu is huge so it can feel overwhelming but you can't go wrong with what you order! It does get busy during the weekends but they have an online waiting system so you can put your name down! I've gone during the weekdays and it's usually not that busy! I'm always a fan of their Benedict or their skillets! I definitely need to try one of their sweet dishes.

I can totally see why this place is so highly rated! There are so many options to choose from, and everything looked absolutely delicious. The service was fast and friendly, which made the experience even better. I ordered the gingerbread latte, it was really good, although it didn't come with the gingerbread décor shown in the photo. I had the Chunky Monkey pancakes and they were so good, so rich and yummy . For my entrée, I ordered the Eggs Benedict and it was really good. My husband had the Grande Skillet and loved it as well. We came early at like 8:30am on a Saturday and it was already getting super packed , so definitely come early. Overall, I really enjoyed everything about this meal and would 100% come back!

We decided to have brunch at Le Peep. Husband had not been there yet although we had lived close to it for years. It's such a chill place with very attentive and friendly staff. I had chicken and waffles and he had the grande. both of us were highly satisfied. Place was clean and so chill. Coffee was great tasting, too. Best to go on a weekday for brunch so no wait.

I still enjoy coming here, the food is consistently good. There are a lot of options and they also offer seasonal specials. I had the Spring Trio and really enjoyed it. The Spring Trio offered a little bit of everything and was a satisfying meal. Our server was friendly and attentive. The space is welcoming and inviting. Can't wait for the next visit.

Super cute and cozy brunch spot with great savory and sweet vegetarian friendly options. Server was friendly, professional, and helped answer questions as well as make recommendations. Drinks: Strawberry Lemonade was super refreshing (5/5), Campfire mocha (4/5), Salted Caramel Latte hit the spot (5/5) Food: Tres Leches French Toast with maple syrup on the side was super yummy (5/5), Tater tot Benedict was also really good with addition of ketchup, hot sauce, salt & pepper on the side (5/5)

Spinach & Pesto Breakfast Sandwich. My favorite. Hearty and tasty

Just go. Big portions of fresh and flavorful food that makes the long wait worthwhile. Our usual orders that keep us coming back...Spanish omelette, pesto egg sandwich, French toast, lumberjack meal. Always think we'll try something else but maybe next time. It is cruel however to make us choose between the diced potatoes and hash browns. They're both so good but can't go wrong with either. Once, through sheer willpower, I ordered a Greek grilled chicken salad (to be healthy) and was rewarded with a delicious and filling lunch. Friendly service that takes good care of you and keeps the coffee refilled.

This is one of my top places to go to for breakfast and brunch. Every time I'm off from work and get to spend the day with my mom, we come right to Le peep! Sure there are many other places around but we always find Le peep to have such solid food. Nothing is ever a disappointment here. Drinks and food alike! I always love going for their special menu when it changes up. Always so fun to try their seasonal foods!

The food and service were awesome! Five stars for that. The issue was the crowded seating and wait for a table, highly recommend getting on the yelp waitlist before arriving! The wait for two was 1.5 hr! We got lucky and had bar seats come up after a few minutes and took those! That was great. I loved the tater tot skillet! It was cheesy and the tots are crispy! The French toast was also really good but I loved the skillet.

Ask the Community - Le Peep

Do they have any gluten free options?

I really do not know. Best advice is to call and ask.

    Is it byob?

You would have to call. I'm guessing you either want to make mimosas or Bloody Mary's. This is an excellent breakfast place. I've never seen anyone drinking alcohol there.

    Is this a BYOB location?

They don't serve alcohol so I would think it's okay. With Covid there policies may change so I suggest to call to get the most updated policy.

Are they open for take out during this social distancing time?

Yes! They also have outdoor seating right now.

So how did I wind up back here? Bit of a story but if you read my first review you'll see how I met a friend that I met online 13 years ago for the first time and this was the place we went for dinner after an event. Well, now a year later, her and I were traveling together north to Parsippany and this was the closest restaurant that looked appealing. It was not until we enter the parking lot I said out loud, this is where we had our first dinner. Anyways, enough of that love story. I really want to give this two stars for service but the food really pushed it over the top. So all in all I will keep it as a four star review. I want to address the food first, I had the short rib tacos, and my partner had eggplant caprice flatbread. I had a bite of hers which I absolutely enjoyed, eggplant had a nice crisp to it which really made it enjoyable. The short rib tacos... holy crap! Mind blown. I did not expect such great flavor in such a small bite. Everything about the tacos packed a punch. I would much rather have had six tacos and no chips and salsa. As for the service, this is where I got frustrated and my cash tip hopefully reconcile with my server. We dined on the rooftop which was completely empty minus a couple at the bar. We seated and ordered our beverages. I did not get my lime with my lemon water. After we ordered our meals, and received them, a server never came back to check in with us. I wasn't a big fan of her attitud either. It started to get busy I noticed that the host kept seating everyone around us when there was an entire floor to sit people at. Not sure if they're trying to keep people in one specific area but for how slow it was they certainly could've given everyone more privacy. I'm pretty sure the couple that was seated next to us got up and left for that reason. Cannot say I will not be back but who knows when I'll be traveling through again.

The standout for me was definitely the coal oven wings. They had the perfect char, super tender and juicy, and came with a great variety of sauces on the side. Easily one of the best things on the table. The St. Patrick's Day Guinness-battered fish and chips were also really good crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, and not greasy at all. The brisket sandwich was solid and came with a generous side of fries. We also ordered the fried calamari, which was delicious light, crispy, and not greasy. Everyone at the table enjoyed it. Overall, a great spot for a family meal with good food and a lively atmosphere.

It was busy and loud inside but we still were able to talk and hear each other without yelling. Our server Michael was great and super attentive. He was knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions. Tuesdays are half off on tacos so I decided to order 4 tacos: the chicken tinga, al pastor, chorizo and potato, and the carne asada. I wanted to get 4 different tacos that I've never tried before and this was the perfect option since it was half off. This was an amazing idea because the portion size was huge and everything was so good. I was surprised by how much I liked the chorizo and potato taco because I don't usually get chorizo but I will definitely get it again. After eating we were too full to get dessert, but I would definitely like to try a dessert next time!

We recently purchased a gift card for True Food Kitchen but when we had problems with it, the local restaurant wasn't able to do anything. NOTE: Be very careful about using any dining credits from Open Table here. I saved up points for like a year and got a measly $16. When deciding on which restaurant to choose for Brunch today, we noticed True Food was in the Open Table network, so I would be able to use the credit there. When we arrived the place was pretty empty. Strange for the time of day. Bad sign #1. They walked us to a large table. The table was soaking wet and the hostess laid our paper menus on the puddle of water, never acknowledging the fact that the table was wet. Bad sign #2. I used my napkin to dry off the table and asked the waiter for another. He was very cordial. It was noon on a Saturday, so we assumed they would provide us with the Brunch menu (since that is why we came) and we had to ask for it - a measly 4 items on this menu, so options were few. Bad sign #3. Our server and the taste of the food were the only positive things about this trip. At the end of the meal, I followed the Open table directions and clicked on redeem in front of the waiter. It seems a Mastercard number pops up and since the server nor the manager knew how to do the dining credit, she said it was declined and could give me a 10% discount. Our meal was only $30, maki g that like $3 I said that I had to use the dining credit here since I booked our reservation which is tied to the credit and I would lose the dining credit. The manager was very demeaning and I reminded her that I can't use this credit anywhere else and that the whole reason for choosing this restaurant today was because of the Open Table credit. She then asked me to stop yelling at her. I, at no time in this conversation, raised my voice. I just stated the fact that I will lose $16 if they don't use it here. She said I could use it elsewhere and I reiterated that was not true and asked if she could contact open table to see why it won't go through. She said no because they are a third party and it is not their responsibility. After a while back and forth on this, she then said, I told you I would take $16 off the bill so you can use that elsewhere. When I reminded her that she said only 10% before she again said to stop yelling at me and I am just trying to make you happy. My husband said, does she look happy? After that she basically kicked us out of the restaurant. I will never return to this location ever again after being treated this way, like I was some criminal trying to get over them over a lousy $16. Now I can see why, on Sunday during Brunch time, the place was practically empty. Go to Original Pancake House just up the street if you want great food and service. There will be a wait but it is worth it!

I recently tried the chef's 8-course tasting menu, and it was perfectly paced--the small plates are proportionately sized so you leave feeling satisfied rather than overwhelmed. Every dish is a standout with deep, "stacked" flavors; even the ingredients I was skeptical about ended up being favorites. Nothing needed a drop of extra seasoning. The service sets a warm, welcoming tone from the start. We were offered Oshibori (Japanese warm towelettes) to refresh our hands, and getting a fresh set of utensils with every course was a high-end touch I really appreciated. Menu Highlights: Taro Fritter: A sweet-textured appetizer inspired by Chinese desserts, topped with caviar and soy-pickled beets. It was a beautiful way to awaken the palate. Mackerel Crudo: As someone who isn't usually a fan of raw dishes, I was surprised by how much I loved this. It's light, perfectly acidic, and balanced with plum, ponzu, and apple. Grilled Sunchoke: This was "rustic elegance" in a bowl. The smell alone is incredible, and the combination of ginger crab and shellfish butter is pure comfort. Smoked Duck: Topped with black winter truffle and caramelized onions in a gochujang sauce--absolutely excellent cook and presentation. Braised Beef Cheek: So tender you can skip the knife and just use your fork. Since I forgot to BYOB, I tried their house-made Luck & Love hibiscus drink. It's hands-down the best hibiscus tea I've ever had--I actually tried to buy one to-go, but they only make enough for dine-in guests! It's a fantastic spot to bring friends or loved ones, though I'd recommend arriving early. The parking lot is extremely tight, so you might need to look for space in the lot next door.

Every dish felt intentional, balanced, and thoughtfully composed, the chefs clearly pay attention to the smallest details. Standouts for me were the red snapper crudo, black cod, and the squid congee, which was surprisingly comforting yet refined. The cornbread and desserts were fire as well, really everything they served felt like they put their heart and soul into it. Beyond the food, what really impressed me was the cadence of the meal. The pacing was perfect, and the team was incredibly observant, they notice everything without being intrusive, you can just tell that they really care about the customer experience. Overall, a beautifully executed tasting menu and an experience that felt intentional, creative, and inspiring. Will definitely return when I'm in the area again.

A few logistical tips: while there is street parking, a public lot is conveniently located right across the street. The dining room is quite intimate with only about ten tables, and since they don't seem to take reservations, I recommend arriving early or being prepared for a wait. If you don't want to wait, they do offer takeout! Another suggestion is to browse their menu online before you arrive, the selection is extensive! We showed up without a game plan and needed several minutes just to decide because there were so many tempting choices! Luckily, our waiter was incredibly patient and helpful, answering every question we had. Once we decided, the real fun began. Every single item, and I'm not exaggerating, was phenomenal! We started with the fresh squeezed orange juice, which was sweet and perfectly portioned, along with a vanilla latte and a cappuccino. Both were classic, rich, and creamy. For the main course, we chose the "Chill + Qill It" Chilaquiles, which featured traditional corn tortillas topped with cotija cheese, avocado, pink sour cream, eggs, and your choice of protein. We also tried the Parkside Classic Sliders; the chicken was exceptionally crispy yet tender and juicy, served with eggs on a brioche bun. We opted to upgrade to the truffle fries, which were delicious! Although our sliders accidentally came with pickles, the staff was so kind and immediately offered to remake the dish or swap out the bun. Finally, we had the Grilled Chicken Egg Ranchero. It was like a breakfast version of nachos, loaded with beans, peppers, onions, an egg, those same crispy tortillas, and more of that signature pink cream! We couldn't leave without satisfying our sweet tooth, so we finished with the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. It tasted exactly like a fresh cinnamon roll, the glaze was incredible, and the bread was perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining fluffy inside. I honestly cannot wait to go back and work my way through the rest of the kitchen's creations. This restaurant is a absolute must-visit for their unique combinations and superb flavors!

Took 30 mins to get our appetizer, another 20 minutes to order our meals and then another 30 mins to get our food (no I'm not exaggerating it was a near 2 hour experience). Food was good, but when it got to us it wasn't hot and could tell it sitting under a heat lamp for a while. 2 tables got there after us and left before us. Understaffed and/or untrained. I'm really not one to leave a bad review anywhere, but this was just crazy. I really hope we were there on an off day because the place is cool and food was decent, but we just had an awful experience.

If this is upscale dining by Darden, they've gone downhill and are very, very far from what Capital Grille offers. To make this review short and sweet my wife, brother-in-law and daughter came in around 8:00 p.m. for a couple drinks and a snack. After finally realizing something is terribly wrong here, I spoke to the GM, Chris, and told him what was going on. We hadn't received water an hour into our experience, we were never even offered any bread. I'm sitting here a steak and butter knife drinking a glass of Caymus and feeling like I am being ignored in the ghetto. The runner, Jessica, as pleasant as she was, was forced to drop our food on an extremely cluttered and disorganized table with empty glasses from the first round. There was zero attentiveness on the part of anyone for our entire experience. After speaking to Chris, we were finally brought some glasses of water and what I remember to be possibly pita bread or flatbread with rock hard butter. Towards the conclusion they offered us some tiny desserts on the house, which we politely declined. Nothing was discounted, there were no apologies. Such a beautiful place with a welcoming atmosphere to be thrown to the wolves like this. After working for Darden in the Chrysler building, I know this does not uphold their standards or what the managing partner would expect out of their staff.
