We were very excited to be one of the first customers to try Tampa Bays newest breakfast/ brunch/ lunch spots! We went to their VIP soft opening this morning after seeing their Facebook page. Le Peep seems to have situated themselves in a residential part of Oldsmar that needed a restaurant just like this in the area. The strip center is new and only has a Tropical Smoothie as at the other end of the building. Plenty of parking! When we walked in, we were promptly greeted and seated. We were escorted to a booth and given disposal menus and our silverware rolled in a paper napkin. We were greeted by a server helping out, and she took our drink order. I had the strawberry lemonade, my husband had a Coke and my son had milk ... all brought over by our server Rose. She asked at that time if we were ready to order and we proceeded. I had the triple decker sandwich (ham, turkey, mozzarella, bacon and avocado club sandwich on wheat bread) with broccoli cheddar soup, hubby had The Hen Pen and our kiddo had the Belgium waffle with bacon... Everything came out exactly as ordered. Notably, my husband, son and I all commented that the bacon was the most perfectly cooked we'd seen at a restaurant in a long time! It wasn't undercooked, it definitely wasn't burnt and it surely wasn't the cheap, thin, restaurant quality bacon you normally get at a diner. I also tasted my husband's sausage link, it was nice and well cooked. Too well cooked for his liking but absolutely perfect for me, I inherited the sausage he didn't eat ;) My club sandwich was packed with good quality lunch meat, a nice amount of avocado, the same perfectly cooked bacon and hearty toasted wheat bread. Our server came back and checked on us as well as offering my husband a Coke refill without him having to ask. The manager also swung by to check on us and later asked for feedback when I was paying at the front counter. For the first day of this restaurant serving customers, I honestly found no issues and nothing coachable to pass on to him. I think Le Peep is just what this part of Tampa needed and I think it's going to adjust perfectly fine with all of the breakfast and brunch aficionados! read more

The food was okay. Potatos were just slightly undercooked and scrambled eggs seemed to have a lot of milk in them: wet and pale. The English muffin was extra small. 2 flavors of jelly to choose from. Overall very small portions and pretty high price for breakfast. Near $50 for two including tax and modest tip. Tip was modest because service was poor. Basically set the plate down and left as quickly as possible before we could ask for anything. We ate outside because the noise inside was practically deafening (see previous review). I ordered three things. Monte cristo crepes - good but for me way too much meat to taste the crepe and raspberry jam. Aspen fruit blintz- I think this was the only thing I truly liked. Eggs Benedict- this was surprisingly bad. On the first bite it felt like the English muffin was stale or really old. The meat was too rough to chew through and the hollandaise was really gritty. I love eggs Benedict and I've had it from many places. Usually you cut you a bite and everything kind of just goes together. This eggs Benedict was just so weird because it felt like the only way to eat this was just focus on one thing at a time and just eat it separately. As a local, I would love to support this business, however, their customer service is unacceptable. I called to place an order to go, as going into the restaurant is not an option for my family right now (Covid and preexisting conditions). A woman answered the phone quickly, asked if she could place me on a brief hold, and just left the phone off the hook. Taking my order would've taken an entire 30 seconds. Came to this restaurant for Sunday brunch. Their model is similar to that of First Watch (from the menu items to how you pay at the front cashier), and they attempt to serve food equivalent to that served at First Watch, however they really missed the mark. I had the breakfast enchiladas with "refried beans" (which were not at all refried beans, these were whole beans with some cheese on top). There was barely any chicken in the enchiladas and the green enchilada sauce was extremely bland and without any heat (spice). Overall I thought the food was fairly priced but I wouldn't expect more expensive prices for the quality of food served. The brewed coffee was good because it's Lavazza coffee which is always a good bet. read more

Didn't ask if we wanted drinks after bringing water so had to wait to order a simple coffee. Forgot my daughter's English muffin that came with her order and gave an attitude when I asked for it. Coming from someone who works in the service industry if you don't want to talk to people and be pleasant then don't be a server. Perfect place to grab breakfast, brunch or lunch. They greeted us at the door and seated us (social distancing enforced). It appears every other table is how they are seating people. It looks like a new place. It was very clean. The breakfast menu had lots of choices and it took a min or two to figure out what we wanted. We ordered the norm: eggs and bacon. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Neither one of us liked the flavor of the bacon (but we are picky about our bacon.). The syrup was served hot and steamed when placed on the pancakes. It was very good. Decided to try this restaurant for the first time last Saturday. We arrived around noon and there was no wait time. The service was EXCELLENT; however, we did not enjoy our food.  My husband ordered the Belgian Waffle combo. He described the waffle as tasting more like eggs than anything. His meal came with potatoes that I actually found quite tasty. I had the pancake of the month with a side of bacon. The pancakes were beautiful but lacked flavor which is why I am giving it 3 stars. Excellent service. Avocado toast was delicious. Sweet tea isn't too sweet. Monte cristo crepes were very filling and flavorful.

First, the service is amazingg. Literally all the waiters came up to us and asked if every thing is okay. Our assigned waitress took her time to recommend and explain things on the menu. We wanted to try different sauces for the eggs and we were provided samples for free. The inside is beautiful and the food was DELICIOUS. I ordered typical things you can make at home but they were on a different level of tasty. The French toast was not sweet at all, just right. There were some plastic fragments in my corned beef hash, I had to ask the server to take it away. The rock lobster scramble wasn't good at all. The quality was just very low. For $15, it's powdered eggs and 2 lumps of lobster. Not even a garnish for the dish. I hate complaining to servers, so I ate the egg dish but the taste wasn't good either. There were burnt pieces of something in my eggs, which is a reflection of the kitchen not being clean. The last thing you expect in your eggs are black pieces. The eggnog coffee tasted like it didn't have coffee in it at all. I had to order black coffee afterwards. The server was fine, very quick with her service and didn't rush me. My husband and I stumbled upon this breakfast gem while running errands last week. Our service was great, and the restaurant was very clean. They have a very delicious cold brew coffee that's served in cute mason jars! They had coffee ice cubes on the menu, but were unavailable the day we dined. The Peasant Potatoes are very tasty, lightly seasoned and the perfect tenderness. I wish I remembered our server's name because she was excellent. I believe it started with a D. Good food with large portions! I got the gluten free Belgian waffle with a fruit bowl on the side and my friend got the Hen Pen. My waffle was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with the perfect amount of powdered sugar on top! The fruit bowl was kinda pricey but it does come in a fairly large portion and with a good variety of fruits. My friend got tons of eggs and potatoes on her plate, the scrambled eggs were nice and fluffy and the potatoes had good flavor! Overall we were both impressed and will be visiting again. read more

A nice breakfast/lunch place when you want a step above the local diner. High ceilings gave it a nice loft vibe and was not too noisy. Food was excellent with fluffy Omni omelette loaded with meat. I have eaten here a few times and every time everything was spot on! The bubbly juice wasn't so bubbly but that's probably the only thing I could complain about! This is truly our favorite breakfast and lunch spot during Covid times. We were so impressed how quickly they sanitize when customers leave, hand sanitizers at every table. Separated by one empty table and outside seating also available. Really makes you feel comfortable. The staff is so friendly fast & efficient fully & properly masked. But enough about the great safety practices. Their menu offers for all including vegetarian delicious.
