An update review: I'm so glad I didn't let my nerves stop me from buying a package at Le-Pelle. Here's my backstory: after losing 88 pounds, I was genuinely proud of what I'd accomplished, but the loose skin on my face made me feel self-conscious, especially in my late 30s. Mariza is my go-to esthetician. She really listens and always focuses on my problem areas during every session. One thing I want to mention is that results don't happen overnight. I say this as someone who wants instant results (yes, I was asking for too much). You'll need more than one session, and you have to be consistent and patient. But if you stick with it, you will eventually see results. It's absolutely worth it. Now that I've finished my first package, I'm honestly amazed at the results. My skin is firmer, smoother, and for the first time ever I actually have a jawline! I've always had a chubby face, so seeing that definition is a huge deal for me. The best part is that friends and family have noticed, too, which has given my confidence such a boost. I've also seen a couple of the other estheticians at Le-Pelle and everyone has been wonderful, professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. I was so happy with my results that I didn't hesitate for a second to purchase another package. If you're struggling with sagging skin after weight loss or just in general, I can't recommend Mariza and Le-Pelle enough. Cute little boutique salon behind Limon Salon! The ladies who greeted me at the front (Jennifer and Tamar) were very welcoming! Miriam is a really sweet esthetician who was knowledgeable and nice to talk to! I came in on a promotional deal I got online for a facial and skin tightening procedure. My skin felt amazing afterwards and my boyfriend (who didn't know I had gotten a facial that day) kept complimented my skin at dinner saying it was "glowing" and looked so soft and youthful. After the procedure, I was seated with Jennifer to talk further about my skin and their recommendations for additional services but they did not push for me to purchase anything. I did buy the scrub/cleanser combo that was used on my skin bc I felt like it left my skin extra soft and it wasn't harsh on my sensitive skin. read more

This business is not listed on the Better Business Bureau (BBB), which is a major red flag. I purchased the promotional HydraFacial for $160, hoping it would help with my acne scars as the staff claimed. However, after three weeks, I've seen no noticeable improvement. The facial itself was far from relaxing--what should have been a skincare treatment felt more like a relentless sales pitch. They aggressively pushed me to buy a $10,000 blue light machine and insisted I apply for financing to purchase a $2,000 facial package. To make matters worse, they wouldn't let me leave without applying for their credit program. I had to firmly refuse multiple times. The esthetician, Marisa, was rough on my skin, and her technique was anything but gentle. I felt awful and completely sold to, rather than cared for as a client. Marisa also pressured me to purchase a $200 future facial and mentioned she would sneak in a chemical peel on the side, which felt shady and unprofessional. I also have no way of knowing what products they're actually using on my face. I felt incredibly uncomfortable with this place and would not recommend it to anyone! read more
