Gotta say, I was not expecting this kind of store in Montreal. Though, given the area it's located, I'd say it fits right in. Let's cut to the chase, this place sells rubber duckies. JUST rubber duckies. All different types, themes, genres, etc..., and I have to say, it was fun walking around and seeing all the different types that have been created. I asked the people working at the store how this place came about. They said these types of store are very popular in Europe, and this is one of the first (if not only) in Montreal. While I'm not any sort of fan of rubber duckies, I must say was interested if not amused by the wide variety of rubber ducks they had in stock. My sons almost bought me the Prince themed rubber duckie (the musician, not the royal). the cutest duck shop! haha we had so much fun. its so simple and just a classic! when I learned about this shop i really wanted to check it out and glad we did. My one yr old son was able to get the last piece of their basketball player duck lol currently, he loves both so to have them together was just awesome! the look on his face was priceless. inside was pretty neat with so many ducks to choose from. knowing what we wanted helped narrow down the choices and so we didnt really stay long, Just enough to explore, check out the pieces, take pics pay and go! such a fun stop for our montreal trip! staff was friendly too! youd love the ducks and the happy faces of all the customers! lol read more

This is one of the first stores that caught my eye. My husband teases me about collecting ducks for my team members. I guess that laptop is supposed to be me? The Carrie, Elvis, the scream, duck you, Mick Jagger, Elton John, God Father, Spock, Santana, Meatloaf, Rosie the Riveter, Exorcist and just about every imaginable duck you could think up here. Old Montreal is always a top spot for a visit, especially when the weather cooperates. We were headed to a bakery for fresh butter croissants, when we passed this store. How could we resist entering a store specializing in rubber duckies? Despite the large space, the store was packed with tourists so it was difficult to maneuver around to see all the different ducks shelved by theme. I loved the primary colors on the walls and the vibrancy it brought to the displays. There were shelves devoted to Star Wars-themed ducks, super heros, royalty, professions, and even Canada ducks. Since I was looking for a special duck for a friend, I was grateful for the assistance I received; I hope the gift recipients like the ducks I chose for them. read more

Cool touristy shop. I appreciate the hustle and its originality. You can find a rubber duck fitting almost any theme. The Store staff are friendly and welcoming. At ~$20 a duck it's a bit pricey, but if you find a duck you like, why not? A bit gimmicky, but cute and fun. read more

We visited the store after seeing someone with a Le Petit Duck tote and then randomly stumbled upon the shop. It was wonderful to admire the breadth of the various types of duckies-- from graduation themed to medical to Marvel to Pokemon and more. There were socks and jewelry available for purchase as well. They were on the pricy side, so we didn't end up getting anything, but it was still a nice shop to visit nonetheless! read more

Disclaimer: I have not been to the store. My comment is about their mail order business. I cannot say enough good about these people. My son ordered a duck for me to be delivered to NYS. This was right around when the crazy tariffs were going into place. We had just ordered a duck a couple weeks before and no issues. When this duck was delivered, UPS asked for an outrageous "tariff fee" or they would not give us the duck. My husband was in a panic knowing it was a Mother's Day gift for me, so he paid it. When he called Le Petit Duck Shoppe to let them know what happened, they immediately reimbursed him, taking the brunt of the foolishness on their bottom line. I don't know what happened on their end with the tariff, but we were thrilled to not be caught up in North American bureaucracy. Can't wait to visit the store itself sometime. read more

Certainly the biggest selection of rubber duckies I have ever seen in one place. Whatever duckie you are looking for from sports, music or movies, they probably have it here. The attendant was very pleasant and we did find one for a gift. I will say, I have found Montreal prices very reasonable but the ducks are a bit high in my opinion. Great place to visit and great for gifts. read more
