While there is a physical guide (depending on what tour you sign up for), the tour also includes many segments with little displayed screens throughout the museum that will play the selected language of the audio-tour. These movies are very high quality and produced very professionally. I like how the museum is very hands-on and will let you get up close to their machines and ingredients, as well as a taste of their aromatised wine... or grape juice for those who do not or can not drink.

A lot different from California, they call their wines by the grape name not by the type of wine ... complicated a long to explain . Of course we buy a few bottles to bring home. Loved my visit here. The beauty of the vineyard adjacent to the 1000 year old castle with its stone…read morewalls and wooden beams was the highlight for me and the wine played second fiddle. Having said that, the wine we tasted was quite good as well. This is estate wine where all the grapes are from the vineyards that surround the castle. As these grapes are only found in Spain and the estate does not ship outside of the country, this tasting experience offers foreigners a unique opportunity to taste wines you will not find anywhere else but here. Nice! Being a bit of a wine snob I am always looking for opportunities like this and this and Oller del Mas definitely fit the bill, castle and all!! Whether you are into wine or not, this is a tasting that should be enjoyable by all. Unique opportunities like this should not be missed!
