We booked this apt. for 1 night in Dijon and because this is an apt, we had to prearrange 24 hours…read morebefore arriving with the owner to receive the key which we did. On the arrival day, we waited in front of the apt bldg at agreed time for 1/2 hour and no one was there to meet with us. We called and left messages and waited for another 1/2 without success. We had to scramble to find another hotel with an available room to rent, last minute. We called him after we had checked into another hotel to let him know what happened and requested that he refund the charges. When we got back home, I proceeded to request the refund in writing and the owner accused us of not being honest and that he was there waiting for us but we did not show. I've never written a negative review but this one is one which needs to be told as I would not want other travelers to have the same bad experience as we had with this owner. He not only refused to refund us, but in turn, insulted us at the same time. As for the apt. itself, I cannot tell you what it looks like as we never made it inside. But the bldg is old and and upkept. If I can give this a zero or a minus star, I would! Be warned if you decide to book with this place.
