Because it's FREE and there are nice views of the bridges & Fort St. Andres! We spent at least 30 min wandering around the gardens, riding a see-saw in the children's area, and climbed up a water fountain / rock area, to see some beautiful views of Avignon. :) It's less crowded than other tourist areas, so that's great!

I still had a great time in both the gardens and zoo. My pictures will NOT do it justice. If you have the time, I recommend visiting. Theres so much space to walk around and plenty of benches available to sit and relax. I was so glad I brought my book with me, because it was the perfect place to sit and read. Such a gorgeous park that I really enjoyed getting to walk around in.
