The place is absolutely gorgeous! There is a view of the ocean from the mountain, and the access to the beach is easy and close by. Clarice, the owner, is super friendly and makes you feel welcome. The "chales" (cottages) are very clean. It was beautiful to wake up to the sound of the Tucanos (bird) and other tropical birds. At night, the view of the lights from the main land is beautiful to watch. And the stars... you can see som many stars at night! A very relaxing, fun and peaceful place to stay. And Ilhabela is also such a quaint town. Loved the experience at Le Refuge. I highly recommend it! read more
