Of the 20+ taps, I'd never had or seen any of them before! Staff was friendly and accommodating, allowing us to taste a small sip before committing to a full glass. Prices were fair. In fact, since it's Geneva I assumed it would be more expensive. Beers were about $8-9 USD.

As I came in I quickly noticed their 20+ tap list that was filled with beers all over Europe. Knowing I wanted to start with something Belgian I chose a quad and settled into my seat at the bar. The owner, Yannick, was extremely friendly and more than willing to talk. It made for a good time chatting as I drank through his beer list.

Do you know those places where you get a prepaid card and scan it for different wines (or…read moreportions)? There's one in the town I live at back in the US, but I've never seen a place that offers this concept for beers. During my time in Annecy a travel buddy told us he had read about it in a travel book he was carrying so we decided to check it out after dinner. The bar has a rustic feel to it and it looked like the beers were switched out frequently. I can imagine beer loving locals come here often to try all the newest arrivals and seasonal brews. We didn't really do the whole concept (we had the staff assist us in getting beers served instead of doing it ourselves), but we did grab a couple of beers. These were more crafty beers from micro breweries which we really loved. I can't remember now if there was any food served here, I think this is a great spot to go out for drinks with friends after dinner.

Guinness on tap yes please it tasted like in Ireland, plenty of Jameson available for shots. Food was OK nothing Irish, we had a charcuterie board, fish and chips, salad. At the end they gave us a free Jameson shot because no one ever ordered so much food.

They don't have many taps (I'm spoiled with the amount and quality of beer bars in Copenhagen) but they have a massive bottle menu, nothing like beer bars back home or in Amsterdam, but hey, this is a wine country, so I'm happy enough.
