So after giving us a refund we scrambled to look for another hotel right in their lobby (at least they were gracious enough to let us use their computer). After surfing for 2 hours we found Balladins, a hotel franchise found all over France, Belgium and Germany. They boast of having 150 hotel all over Europe as of 2012 and more expected to open. Located a good 30 minute drive to Paris, in the neighborhood of the Disneyland Resort, a small town called Esbly, this hotel was the perfect place for us. We were lucky to be able to book it right away as it was only ones available. We needed a family room for 5 . I was traveling with my son, 2 grand daughters and a sister and was given 2 rooms attached to each other. Each room was provided with 2 comfortable beds and one bunk bed which was perfect for us because my grandchildren both teenagers wanted the bunk bed. Parking was free on the premises and our car was visible from our rooms on the 3rd floor. Each room was provided with Free Wi-Fi, TV, Nice clean sheets, The bathroom/shower was rather small but tidy & neat and serves the purpose. The hotel is also animal friendly. Saw a lot of guest walking their dogs around the hotel. Breakfast is available for 8 Euros although we never ate there, they serve mainly the basic Croissants, Rye Breads, Eggs, Danish, Cereals, Coffee , Juice & Fresh Fruits. We have more choices outside. . We drove around the town later and familiarize ourselves with the place. This cozy little town has a huge supermarket, Bakery, Pizza house, Bars, Deli, Meat Market, Chocolatier ,Chinese Buffet, Trains/Subway station. We left our car at the station and took the /subway from there to Paris. It was a nice ride passing all these beautiful sights & views. Would I stay there again, definitely. Their rates are very affordable and their staff, very friendly and helpful.

The website led us to believe this was very close to Disneyland. Not true... in fact an Esbly…read moreresident we met was surprised we were staying here to visit Disney. Our cab driver was very unethical and drove way out of his way to get here, costing €47.50. After we checked in (and considered not even doing so because of the distance) a hotel employee recommended a local taxi service that costs €20 - €25. So adding that extra cost into the hotel made this stay not quite the bargain we had hoped for. The bus stop is far too distant to walk to, especially if you are spending a day at Disney where you will be on your feet all day. The employees here are very friendly but have little to no English. The rooms were clean and serviceable. If you may want a place to sleep, this is a good place. Except the walls are very thin, and our first night here was a miserable experience listening to a baby cry all night and a group of people laughing and singing until 3 a.m. Clean sheets, relatively comfortable beds, okay pillows, and clean towels. Now, the strangest thing here is the bathroom. The shower floor is the same floor that the stool sits on. Therefore, if someone has taken a shower and you go to the bathroom, you are going to be walking on wet tile. The bathrooms doors are sliding doors so there's very little privacy. No air conditioning which we really needed in 95 degree weather. Would I stay again? Sadly, no.
