Friendly staff and good location, but the food was not great. The lasagne had no sauce or flavor. Over priced and slow service

We had our luggage with us and it was a little cumbersome trying to find a place to stash it while we ate, but the staff was patient with us. There were many choices on the menu but we settled for two pizzas, one was a four-cheese or "quatre fromages." The other was a sausage type of pizza. Both were delicious! The cheese was fresh and included gorgonzola, one of my favs. The waiter was a teenager and he was so efficient and pleasant. We had a nice lunch and experience at La Pergola and would definitely return if we ever find ourselves in Saint-Lo, France.

One of the waiters spoke English, and in addition to the menu in French, he was kind enough to give us the English menu as well. We ordered one Chorizo pizza. Service was really fast and pizza was served in no time! It turned out to be good, different from what I've had in US and Italy. They had a sunny side up egg in the middle of the pizza and this was new to me. We ended the meal with a chocolate fondant - a plate of chocolate lava cake with generous chocolate sauce, whipped cream and a scoop of ice cream. Needless to say, this was the hit of the night. Good food and very friendly service. I recommend this restaurant.

I have to say that it was unique to the region and was also very good. My wife and I tried two different pies, one with jambon and another with kebob (aka - lamb). Both were delicious. I think what makes the pizza unique is the creme fraiche sauce. It may be difficult to stomach for those of you who are not used to this type of sauce, but it's tasty nonetheless. Just a note, they don't bother to slice the pizzas so you might want to make sure you have a fork and/or knife handy when you eat.
Pizza menu. They also have an English menu. Ask for it.
