People say it can be hard to get in so it might be a good idea to come on the earlier side if you really don't want to miss it. They have a DJ and a small dance floor, and an additional bar upstairs. This place is worth checking out if you are out in Chamonix, however, I'm not sure it's worth it if you have to pay to get in. The regular sport bars may be fun enough!

Please, Palo Alto! Make it stop . 2) inattentive bartenders, even though we had bottle service with multiple tables. 3) security guards not intervening when my colleague was punched by a drunk guy (!!)) 4) DJ was playing old music that wasn't good Security guards were very nice to me , so that was cool . Deceiving venue from the word go, as soon as you get there it's basically a glorified shed above…read morethe snow which looks like it could fit about 5 people inside. This is in fact true, the entrance can fit around 5 people and a long descending staircase to the cavern club below. It seems a quiet desolated venue from outside, but this couldn't be further from the truth. The hidden downstairs venue holds 2 main bars, a large stage and 2 dance floors with a small sitting area. Be prepared because you wont be able to hear yourself think for the rest of the night. The venue is filled with live music and a cheering crowed. When you think things can't get any hotter the bar sets on fire and you get drowned in whiskey by the bar staff, trust me, I'm not complaining! This venue really is the cherry on top of all the nightlife Val Thorens has to offer. Small word of warning, careful not to break your bank account when entering Malaysia since drinks will cost more than your ski higher and leave a nasty hangover for the next morning.

I was not even given an apology and when i tried to complain my friend tried to help me as the bouncers were completely ignoring me, this resulted in him being punched in the face by a bouncer. The amount of people i saw being hit by the bouncers is disgraceful. On another occasion they had advertised that Rudimental would be playing, instead of Rudimental playing they played one of their songs and pretended it was Rudimental, an outragous organisation.

In 2014, the only choice for an after ski party at the base of the slopes was La Follie Douce. In 2015, that changed with the arrival of the new dance floor at 360 Bar. They have gone for the same music style and massive tables for people to dance on like the Douce but the atmosphere is less cool. What is fun about the Follie Douce (or what was fun before the music there became mostly terrible) is that you can go in and buy expensive drinks if you want....or you can chill outside on the snow with your friends enjoying the sun and the music and your own snacks/drinks that you brought in your backpack. Maybe you will go get one drink from the bar...but when it is over 15 euros for a coke and a Desperados (ok the Desperados was for a FRIEND I promise)...the appeal is limited. The music is not THAT great... It is like with music or movies or whatever, if the price is too high, people find an alternative means to getting what they want. So this place blasts its music and makes everyone on the slope have to listen...but if you come close by to check it out because you enjoy the DJ and want to drink a beer of your own - without even entering in the bar or the dance floor - the owner will come and give you crap. In his words, "Pas ca chez moi" and in response to our pointing out that he doesn't own the snow "Ici - c'est chez moi". What a dode (a dode is a really lame dude - who is in effect a buzz kill for something fun - like a guy no one knows who is hitting on your girlfriend at a party - or drinking all the beer without having brought anything himself). So between the let down of the Follie Douce this year and this dode, I think I might have to find a new ski resort for next year.

Loin d'être un club "m'a-tu-vu" où l'on sort pour se montrer, le Live Pub joue la carte festive et bon enfant. Le jeudi, le karaoké sévit et les cadeaux coulent à flot, le reste de la semaine la musique oscille entre tubes du moment et son nostalgique des années 80. La clientèle principalement constituée d'habitués, est âgée de 30 à 50 ans, les week-end une clientèle un peu plus jeune vient alors partager la piste de danse. Une initiative originale de la direction propose à ses clients moyennant une participation de 4€, de les ramener chez eux lorsqu'ils le souhaitent et s'ils pensent qu'ils ne sont pas en état de prendre le volant.
