We arrived around 2pm, during Christmas week on a Monday, and the place was quite busy! We were greeted by a hostess and directed to our table! We ended up trying a couple of local favorite items: traditional mushroom and ham tartes flambees along with a salmon tartes! Both were delicious and worked well with Alsac wines! Apparently they are known for their burgers but we wanted to stick to local foods which are often not available at home in US or not as delicious. Overall a very fun and vibrant spot with good food!

It's a great little bar/grill with a "croque monsieur" theme. The Belgian beers on tap are phenomenal (I recommend the Palm Royale) and the croques are tasty. The owner and bartenders are really nice and speak English (I wish I could remember your names, but if you ever read this, Emma from Texas says hi!!) I will definitely return if I am ever again in Strasbourg.

Code Bar put us in for three drinks each. Astonishingly, the bar is running with no menu. I'm sure they could make the classics, but we just told them what we wanted - something served up, a short or a long drink, or any combination of fruity, dry, smooth, acidic, or dairy-forward. No matter what mixture of flavor notes and finishes we threw, they delivered. And they adjusted drinks to our request as we sipped. The mixologists' English is great, too, so don't worry about not being understood.
