The design blended classic Swiss warmth with modern updates, creating an alpine atmosphere that felt polished without becoming extravagant. After skiing hard, the basement wellness area was exactly what I wanted. The sauna and Jacuzzi became essential recovery tools, and returning there gave each day a satisfying rhythm. Just as memorable was the staff, who were exceptionally warm and personal, anticipating our needs and making the hotel feel genuinely attentive rather than merely efficient. The central location made Verbier easy to navigate. We could walk along the main street to restaurants and toward the Médran lifts, and the hotel also seemed able to help with local transportation when needed. The team gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation and consistently made the experience feel effortless. Hotel Vanessa offered comfort, accessibility, and genuine hospitality in a destination where prices can become extreme, and its standout service played a major role in making me love Swiss skiing.

You can walk to restaurants, shopping, and even the Médran lift. 2. Hotel shuttle will take you and pick you up from the slopes. Even drive you to dinner if you choose! 3. 3 bedroom suite was large and spacious. Very clean and wonderful linens. Coffee maker and refrigerator in room were a plus. 4. Morning breakfast was included and featured a huge continental breakfast, plus pancakes, eggs and meats. Delicious fresh bakery items as well. 5. Very nice spa and hot tub was relaxing after a day on the slopes. 6. The hotel restaurant was also 5 star with an excellent fondue for the family. Could not have been any better. A perfect stay. Only downsides: 1) The closet doorframe is low and I continually scrap my bald scalp when departing. 2) The key ring is colossal making loud banging noises as it pounds the door frame when unlocking or locking. Additionally, it cannot leave the premises unless escorted by a private security team or loaded into a wheelbarrow.

W Verbier is a throwback to what the W hotels used to be like with their tasteful and cheeky modern design, plentiful considered amenities and great service. Actually the service here is better than any W I've ever stayed at, even before the Marriott purchase. We were provided with a personalized tour of the facilties, a welcome gift, and a very warm reception from the staff at the front. When they learned our check out had to be really early in order to take a car two hours away to catch a train, the staff arranged for the private driver and made sure we had breakfast packed for our morning journey. Fabulous! The rooms are fun cross between quirky modern W design and chalet, just as you'd expected. Ours came with a large balcony overlooking the valley and the cable cars which couldn't be more appropriate for this kind of place. I do take issue with the tedency of some W hotels to partially expose the bathrooms; this should be an option to enable rather than the default as not every stay is going to result in lewd behavior but it's a nitpick. The only minor gripe with the hotel is the main restaurant brasserie is just O.K. While the design of the space is spectacular and the service is great, the food is standard issue Switzerland: just O.K. and extremely expensive. Overall, wonderful. Recommended.

While there is no hotel restaurant, they are close by a couple restaurants, just up the street from the bus stop onto other cities, and a full bar to wet your whistle at the end of the night with snacks before heading off to dinner. Enio was great to offer support with regards to navigating the bus system, making dinner reservations, and making a great gin and tonic! The rooms were clean, lobby eclectic furnishings with a mix of funky fun and comfortable furnishings. While it is not the fanciest option out there, it is super friendly, clean and a great location. Just what you want and need at the end of a long day on the trails.

There is a great kitchen, bar, spa, and numerous other facilities. Housekeeping is superb. There is always someone making sure each and every guest is well cared for. The property is clise to the Hellbroner Teleferic which makes it very convenient for mountaineering. It is about a half hour walk down to the village of Courmayeur. But the hotel offers a shuttle if preferred.

Au Coin du Feu is a warm, inviting, comfortable place with kind hosts and incredible food right in…read morethe center of Megève. The staff is incredibly attentive and accommodating, the rooms, while small, are comfortable and clean. The bathroom is relatively spacious and warm. I had the relief menu at Le Saint Nicolas downstairs the night I arrived. It was a special, memorable meal. The chef creates food that is inventive and beautifully presented and technically complex and also, somehow, comforting. The wine pairings from the sommelier are also excellent. This particular menu was an homage to the region - it celebrated the local produce and people. For example, the tea that is served as a palate cleanser is made of herbs harvested low in the mountains, a task traditionally carried out by old ladies in the region who cannot reach the herbs higher in the mountain that are used for génépi. It was earthy and layered and satisfying. I was pleasantly surprised, the next night, to find that the food at the bar upstairs, while more casual, is also outstanding. The chef's burger with Gruyère is the best burger I have ever had in my life. I cannot recommend au coin du feu enough. If you are thinking about staying there, do it. I have stayed in much more expensive hotels in Megève, and this one is my favorite. While the hotel does not have a jacuzzi or a pool, the service, food, and general environment (calm, cozy, and warm) is better than the larger, more expensive hotels.
