A good cafe in town on the central square. Most seating is across from the small restaurant on the square itself. The kitchen sometimes gets overwhelmed when all tables are occupied but the show on the square is nicely distracting.
The food is typical ...good salads ..Nicoise, Roquefort etc, the main courses maigret de canard, dorad, etc same as most of the seasonal local places but nicely prepared.
Pichets of the local wines are the best way to go...cheap and chewy for the reds and light and fresh for the whites and pinks.
Getting a bill can be a challenge when they are busy so ask for the bill with the coffee order....it is a reliable local place to hang in the early evening. read more
