The guys (Alex and Lloyd?) were a great help in finding me the right guitar that the right price. Seemed to be a family-owned place where they took pride in their shop. I will definitely go to them again the next time I'm in town. I've been playing the guitar since I got home and I'm even happier with it, now! Thanks guys!

This is Bedford's only actual music shop - the only problem being that not many people realise that…read moreit's there! It does take a good 10 minute walk away from the shopping centre to find it and if you didn't know Bedford I doubt you would ever be able to find it! They stock a good range of things in this shop although the majority are guitars. They also teach instruments in the studios above. Next door (linked inside the shop) there is a repair studio, headphone and disco shop. As there are no other music shops in Bedford, prices aren't very competitive. If you are interested in music and live in Bedford, going to this shop is a must!
Reverb is a music shop located in Leicester city, it used to be known as 'Academy of sound'. I play…read moreguitar, so I can only comment on this, though Reverb does of course sell other music equipment. They do have a good selection of stock and prices are reasonable. From someone looking for their first guitar to the more specialist player, you should be able to find something that suits at a decent price here. My main gripe with Reverb is that they do not setup there gutiars very well. What does that mean? Basically, guitar setup (or any stringed instruments setup) is akin to an MOT. If something isn't setup well, it won't play/sound as well as it will when well setup. My main problem with this is that at many other retailers, things are setup well and you can get a real good feel for the instrument you are playing, which is EXTREMELY important in helping you decide if you want to purchase it, especially if you are very particular about these things like me.

Very kitsch, very glam, yes a little tacky at times - but if you want glitz at every day places this is the place to come. You will not find real gold here or diamonds, but plenty of diamonte and paste. They also sell an amazing array of unusual and very ornate handbags and shoes. You are talking 3 ins heels upwards - and occasion wear mostly. Some of the designs are way too O.T.T for me personally - but if you pick and choose you do get some fab pieces. For a good look I would suggest dressing up a simple understated outfit with just one statement accessory from 'Belle's', I personally feel top to toe would scream 'Trailer trash'. Gorgeous, gorgeous boots in a wide array of colours, but again some are more lapdancer than lady - it depends on your preferences I guess!! Me, I have purchased from their several pairs of earings, a beaded evening bag and a tiara. So far... Excellent for filling young girls party goodie bags with trinkets, for Prom accessories, or for little 'cheer me up 'gifts for friends. Also very friendly and personal service. It does get very rammed in here on a sat as its tiny.

Due to the festive…read moreperiod I assumed the delivery may still take more than 2 days and I was prepared to accept this however I thought if I chose the faster delivery service at least they might come quicker than if I chose standard, plus this method was apparently Royal Mail tracked. Almost two weeks later and I have still not received anything and needless to say I never received a tracking number after placing the order so cannot even take that route to try and find my package! I have contacted the 'company' numerous times with no reply whatsoever and cannot believe the poor quality of customer service. If I have still not had any response in the next few days I will reporting this company as I placed a large order plus the extra postage cost with no goods in return therefore in my opinion this is theft. Having now seen other reviews on www.reviewcentre.com along similar lines (which I wish I had seen beforehand!), I like other reviewers, agree that this company seems to be acting fraudulently with the odd order processed accurately to give the impression of an active company whilst in actual fact other customers are being treated fraudulently through acts of theft by the company. Not impressed at all! I only used this company because of the faster postage option, I wish I had stuck to the other company I had previously used who actually treat customers with respect! Please be warned about this company!
