They made a real mess of it! I had called so many places in town to see if they could fix it, but every place I called told me "We don't fix install issues from other companies". I had just about given up (as did my sink, as it was kinda hanging), until I heard about Talquin Fabrication. When I called, they told me that they do in fact fix this sort of work and they scheduled a repair for me. The repair folks arrived, on time, and they were super nice. The repair took a while, as the original company was a joke, but it has been 6 months and the sink is still locked in place and looking good. As for price, it was really affordable, especially when I felt I was faced with having the entire countertops replaced! The repair was under $200 and they tried to give me a discount based on the repaired item, not the time. Wow. If you need granite countertops repaired due to poor installation or anything else, these are the folks to call!

So I spent considerable amount of time searching for a roofing company that was reliable and yet affordable. I contacted several such companies, regarding a new roof and skylight and McKeithan and Sons were the first to respond. I found the receptionist to be warm and helpful. Although we interviewed 2 other well-respected roofing companies, our experience just flowed very smoothly. The representative, Travis, was very informative, answered all of our questions, and we were impressed with his knowledge and genuine, helpful attitude. We were kept informed of the date and time the roofers would arrive, so their were no surprise knocks on the door! We recieved a contract explaining all the details within days of agreement. The men worked arrived at 7:30, and steadily worked hard until they got the roof completed by 5:30 PM. The workers were very polite and respectful. They cleaned up any and all debris and placed in a portable dumpster. The next day this dumpster was picked up and removed by 9PM. Later in the day,Travis arrived to inspect the roof, the surrounding yard, and found a couple of nails, in an odd place too hard for the roofer's magnets to locate. Such a thorough job. Now, this is what I'm talking about. Why can't we get this kind of service from other company/corporate services? Perhaps because McKeithen and Sons is family owned and is local and has 40 years of experience in serving the Tallahassee citizenry. shop local whenever you can.
