They certified the…read morehealth of a cat as being "very good," when in fact Dr. Ehrel had known the cat for three years and was well aware that it had a lifetime history of chronic digestive and bowel problems. I understand their client, the breeder, was desperate to re-home her cats after losing her home. But it is the vet's responsibility to recommend what is best for the animal, and absolutely unconscionable to OK sending a cat that has digestive problems halfway across the world where the food, water and atmosphere are different. We have already spent over $2000 USD on treatment, including having to re-do all of the inoculations because, as our own vet pointed out, you can't trust Dr. Ehrel's records since they lied about the cat's health. Our apartment smells like downwind of the Seine on a pungent day, and when I think of Dr. Marie Erhel, I think of one of the few words I know in French, which starts with an m, and is not merci.
