I have had mostly positive experiences with other therapists; however, my experience with Courtney Wyman was disappointing. I felt that she did not allow enough time for my child to transition and adjust before ending the session, and her manner felt rushed and harsh. As a parent, I suggested that next time my child be given a brief moment to finish cleaning up the toys, especially since there were still five minutes scheduled for parent discussion, which were not used. She did not acknowledge this suggestion and instead stated that she needed to end the session because she had another patient. At that time, our session had not yet ended, and there were still approximately three minutes remaining in the parent discussion period. I explained that allowing less than 30 seconds to clean up helps prevent triggering my child, as children on the spectrum can be very sensitive to abrupt transitions. Unfortunately, her response and facial expression felt cold and dismissive, which made the interaction uncomfortable. I was disappointed by this experience, as I expected a higher level of patience and understanding from a professional working in this field. Effective therapy requires flexibility, empathy, and collaboration with parents, and I did not feel those qualities were demonstrated during this session. read more

My daughter and I have been to our fair share of therapy locations and this is by far the best location out of the bunch. The front office staff are always so sweet and always answer any questions I may have. Allie and Brissa are the S.T. Dream Team, to say the least. My daughter's speech has improved drastically since being with them. Emily always knows how to make P.T. fun, even when my daughter may not be in the best mood. We've been going to Leaps and Bounds for occupational and physical therapy for our son that has cerebral palsy and the staff has always been outstanding! Gregg OTA is absolutely wonderful and has seen our son in clinic as well as teletherapy currently. Even through teletherapy, he is so engaging and goes above and beyond to make it fun and interactive while we work on our goals! My nephew has been attending speech therapy here for the last four months. He has been working with Ms. Lindsay, Ms. Kathryn, and Ms. Madison every week. My family is overjoyed with the services he receives! We learned that he is a Gestalt language processor and they have been monumental in his speech development. He went from using a couple 2-3 word sentences to now consistently using 4-5 words! He is able to communicate much easier and he looks forward to every session. After every visit, he stops to say hi to all the animals, his favorite being Jimmy the sheep. He also loves to play in their play area next to Twix! I can't recommend Leaps & Bounds enough! Extremely disappointing, beware these people act nice but they harbor resentment in their. My daughter was a client but things turned when her regular therapist left and then she was left with only therapist that was filling in so she had no regular therapist and it was hard for her because there is no rapport establish and I had brought this to the staff's attention with negative results, on one session her session was cut short by 12 minutes in 30 minute session. The non regular therapist said my child was not having a good day so she stop it. I said to her im right outside and she could had got me I to settle her down. These people seem to forget they are working with people that have special needs. After complaining to the supervisor we were place in a different building away from yhe other kids and still no regular therapist for my daughter. We were also place on restrictions as we missed 2 therapy sessions and we were place on call basis but leaps and bound made no effort to call us back, so now our daughter is not having any services with them because they shown they don't like parent that advocate for their children to have a regular therapist to have a rapport. ​ read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. The therapists are great but unfortunately you have to get through the incompetent teenagers at the front desk. We've been taking our baby here and have showed up for appointments and turned away and told we didn't have one, when in fact we did and they noticed their error later. They said they didn't receive our paperwork and then were able to pull it up in front of us and see they did in fact receive it. They over charged us $200and then wouldn't reimburse it and just put it towards future appointments. THEN charged me $100 for the next appointment instead of using the credit. For an appointment we called that we'd be a little late and were told since we were 10 minutes late they had to cancel it. Packing up a 3-4 month old to drive 30 mins in traffic to be hassled by reception when it comes to our baby's health is absolutely wild and unacceptable. read more

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience what so ever with Leaps and Bounds. From the moment we initiated potential care we were with a coldness from the office staff. Unfortunately they were the only pediatric therapy center accepting new patients and we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. To make an overly long story short - Leaps and bounds has completely ignored all request for documentation from our insurance. Multiple calls have been made and the response is "faxes get lost" not sure how that can happen 3+ times after confirming with all parties involved of the fax number. In addition - our son was taking off the schedule completely even though we were paying out of pocket for his appointments. While they have great reviews and I had high hopes - we were deeply disappointed in their overall management of the situation and the minimal care we received. read more

Alexis the PT is awesome! She's super sweet and very knowledgeable. The reason for my three star is unfortunately the front desk isn't very friendly. All the times I've gone, they've been sort of short and not very polite. It's unfortunate because from my experience, the back staff is super friendly. They don't have much availability on their schedule so what they recommend, isn't always possible. During our welcoming, they asked me which times of the day work best and after telling them, they keep giving me the complete opposite BUT in order for us to get care, we had to work around their schedule which is a bummer. As much as we want to continue using Leaps and Bounds, we will be switching to a different physical therapist. It's just not worth dealing with their front desk. It makes seeing the awesome PT's a complete unnecessary hassle. read more

My son started with Leaps and Bounds 2 years ago roughly at the Corona office. He had amazing therapist for speech and OT at the very beginning. As they expanded they started hiring new therapist with very little experience and down hill went the quality of the services. I then requested to move to Norco office only to receive the same type of care be a they are overly crowded with patients. My son was kicked off reoccurring schedule and never put but after a mistake on their part after being there for over a year with the same therapist. Now he was bounced around from one therapist to the next and no set schedule. We had to book only to weeks in advance and only got whatever was available. We went weeks without therapy due to unavailability after being clients for one year with a set schedule. Because of all this and the quality of services being so bad I pulled him out. I would sit in on sessions and watch the therapist teach my son bad habits by not correcting his hand placement when writing and cutting. Watch therapist just sit there with him bc she didn't know all his goals and she didn't know what to do with him. I had to tell her what the goals were and ask why they were just sitting there. That day my son didn't bring his AAC device so bc he didn't have it she literally was just sitting with him letting him play until I walked in and was like what are you guys working on. She said well since he doesn't have his device there is nothing we can do? I lost my mind and told her to look up his goals as AAC was not his only goal. Majority of their good therapists left because of management not valuing their expertise. It was very sad to have these amazing therapists leave. I should have known them that if they didn't care about their employees they definitely wouldn't care about my son. Which obviously was very apparent in the end. read more
