If you want a school that you can just brag about your kids going to, this is it. The only thing you're paying for is the beautiful campus and the small class size, which sells themselves. The teachers here are old and need to retire, like most schools. There's nothing special about the faculty here, or the administrators, which are far from lacking. Bullying still goes on at this school, kids with different ethnic background also made fun of, and the sense of entitlement the kids have with each other in older grades is unheard of. It's surprising after 100 years of running a school? How they still don't have it together. If you like to be fed a bunch of bullshit from a PR company, who writes emails about wonderful the school is, when they can't seem to keep it together internally, this is the school for you. You'll also need a back up nanny if you work, because the kids have off more days then you can count. Also, with the location the power goes out a lot and they do NOT have a back up generator. Safety? They rely on the police offer looking for lost cars in the drive way. They don't even call you if you don't show up to pick your kid, they put them in the afterschool program and hope you show up. Several times the faculty never responds to messages. Our children's teachers have many times seemed like they care about anything related to our children's teachers. One even told me in a parent teacher conference she was counting down the days until the break came!! Don't waste your money or be lured in by the pretty setting, it comes with problems.

DiDonato…read moredidn't get along with my mom and took it out on me and was rude to me Then miss Skarl told me at a point that I was going to go nowhere in life and probably be held back a teacher should not be saying that to her student it was totally out of place so now onto seventh grade most of the teachers were nice but there were two that were really mean one was mr. Harris and no kids like him he's the worst teacher I've ever had in my life he gave me a detention the first day of school for not bringing my free time reading book because I forgot it he would continuously Yell at everybody in the class and pick on the kids especially with learning disabilities like myself and another kid in my class then his assistant miss.Thielen was OK she had a good personality but she was an awful teacher especially to me like all the kids in class will be talking and the second I said one word she would scream at the top of her lungs at me they were Times teachers would come in because she would be yelling I honestly wish I could've recorded it she did have a good personality though and she made me embarrassed by making me walk with her and the other kids that I had something wrong with me because of her they would treat me completely different the best teacher in that grade was Ms. Cherkala her teaching skills were phenomenal and she treated me like everybody else and even when I didn't want to do work she was able to motivate me now I'm in eighth grade and Miss Karlavec has been awful I've heard her talk about me to her assistant and she's already made me call my mom for no reason and it's the second week of school she left my mom a nasty email because I thought something started in September but it actually started in August even at the teacher meet and greet she was giving my mom nasty looks she's an awful teacher and if your child gets her ask to have your child switched classes the nicest teacher is Miss Echols in eighth grade she is been kind to me so far and her teaching style seems good honestly I have been to three different schools and out of the three Copley Fairlawn middle school is definitely the worst by far from last year's principal who was homophobic and yelled at my friend and I for holding hands to our sexiest dress code and racist logo this school is off for the kids or act like two-year-olds even an eighth grade and watching Dora the Explorer would help you learn more then the school if you were thinking about sending your child here please keep in to consideration everything I said about how your children will be miserable and a tiny bit of respect they have for themselves get washed away from the teachers as teenagers and everybody makes problems worse than they actually are and the school doesn't do anything and the teachers or sometimes racist like Miss Wagner thought an African-American girl was going to hit her with a shoe last year when she actually was just picking her shoe up off the ground and how the teachers treat them different I feel bad for each and every kid that has to go to the school and hope that they get out soon you might not listen to me because I'm a student here and not a parent but trust me the students are the ones that have to go to the school they know more about it if you want your kid to be happy send them anywhere but here even though the seventh through eighth grade principal is very kind he doesn't really change things ok I hope you take my review into consideration

From the environment to the team to the events, they pour passion into what they do. Tutu School is a clean, beautiful boutique environment that is a dream. A half wall with a latch gate separates the dance space from the comfortable area with ample seating surrounding. In the dance space, pink and purple dots are on the floor as place markers. A corner shelf holds all the dance props that vary each class. The team is so sweet. My daughter's permanent class is with Teacher Jasmine, who has welcomed us from the start. Unlimited twirling introduced us to Teacher Sara, Teacher Annaliese and Teacher Savannah- who are all amazing! Each of the teachers follows the same general format, but each offers their own unique touch. Bravo Bash is Tutu School's recital and it is the absolute cutest thing. It is the perfect stress free introduction to recital. The rehearsals are during class time and the teachers are on stage during the performance. They also keep the performance as a whole short and sweet, so the little ones thrive through and through. After my shy daughter's first performance, she was confidently beaming with pride. She talked about it for months and it was and continues to be the most heart warming conversations. On Tutu Days, my daughter wakes up, changes and comes out of her room dressed and ready requesting a ballerina bun. Every day with the same excitement, ballet days are the best! My daughter is hooked and it's no secret- WE LOVE BALLET!

After doing many hours at Sylvan through out the online year he had completed writing all the way through ninth grade, 2 years above his grade level and was working on 8th and 9 th grade math. When he went back into school this year as a seventh grader he's taking eighth grade math and honors reading. I attribute all of this to Sylvan. I have a daughter that's 11 years younger. She was behind in reading in first grade. We signed her up for Sylvan. She did it 3 to 5 times a week even in the summer. She caught up and Advanced in no time. What the school couldn't do Sylvan was able to. That Child advanced so much that she was able to start college at Kent State in ninth grade as a 14 year old. (College Credit Plus AKA free college) By the time she was 17 she had her masters from Kent state and taught organic chemistry for Kent state as a paid employee. I give Sylvan ALL the credit. Is Sylvan cheap no not by any means. However, in the long run it fully paid off with free college from the government which anyone can qualify if they're smart enough or they hire Sylvan to help accomplish this goal.
