No explanation offered, except "he didn't come back in when I called the dogs!" Had to rely on the kindness of strangers to find him. Reunited with my daughter 30 hours after he went missing! Viv Trathen washed her hands of the whole situation.

It also has a range of common animals for sale and staff are quite happy for you to just browse and look at the animals. The shop is clean and tidy although it can get quite busy so access in and around is sometimes difficult. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. In peak times queue times can be a while, usually because staff do serve each customer throughly rather than there being long queues.

On your first visit you get 6 weeks Pet Plan insurance free which is handy because it gives you cover immediately, whereas when you purchase the same cover online you can't make any claims in the first month or so. The waiting times seem to be really good as we've never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes and there is adequate parking outside. Along with the usual veterinary services, they have weight and behaviour specialists and even offer bereavement counselling. We're both huge animal lovers and we'll be taking our pets (both current and any future additions!) for years to come.

Prescribed medications unnecessarily and to top it off customer service was disgraceful. I was given a full refund after proving there was nothing wrong with my dog. The vets themselves you can see genuinly care about the animals welfare but also realise that treatments can be costly. They go out of their way to ensure that they can give your pet the treatment they need at a lower price and without breaking the bank. I found this particularly true when my cat was ill for about 3 weeks, i had to make several trips with her to the vets and they did their best to make her feel as comfortable as possible. They didnt even bat an eyelid when she tried to bite him!!!

They sell all the dog foods and biscuits by weight so you can try a small amount before you commit to a massive bag. Highly recommended.
