I always like shopping in any Mercadona, because it has almost everything I need, and it's not the…read moremost expensive place to go to. I also love their chocolate-filled mini croissants, and for some reason, the ones from this location gave me stomach grief. This location was alike any other Mercadona, except it seemed that everyone knew each other, and we stood out like a sore thumb. So much so, that, apart from the weird looks, the security guard followed us EVERYWHERE we went. I even started staring at him to see if he got the point...he did, and he would walk away, but BAM! he was right there behind us in the next aisle... If I look like I need to steal food, I wouldn't be able to afford a $200 Calvin Klein coat....just saying.

Saves you from looking at individual shelves throughout the store. A small section for whole Jamon legs. Pricing ranged from 59 Euros to 199 Euros. A ton of seafood on ice and fresh meats. One aisle full of specialties. I spent a lot of time here looking at Turron and Marzipan to take back home. One watch out - you need to have a Carrefour card in order to take advantage of some of the sale pricing (for example 3x2 - buy 2 get 1). Some promotions are given as an immediate discount and some are given as points for a future order.
