I did not realize it was legal to grant an alzheimer's patient a divorce. I will ask the Louisiana Bar Association that question. The divorce paperwork contained an incorrect address and social security number for my mother. This has caused problems with her social security benefits and other payments. I would look for a better attorney before settling for this one.
