Bankruptcy used to have a bad stigma of shame and that you lose everything. Obviously you want it to be the last option for you, and for us, this was our rock bottom. Geraci Law was able to help me with protecting our house and cars. They are really here to help you. The entire process was very easy. A bit lengthy but they need to know your entire financial situation in order to help you. I think it's only fair. When I made my first appointment I had to fill out forms. Then one of the lawyers came to greet me and we discussed my financial situation. After accepting their help, there were certain documents I had to upload to their very easy and user-friendly app/Client Corner portal. I could take pictures of my documents and upload them right into the app. Their messaging system was also very useful and I was able to be in contact with the lawyer that was assigned to my case. Once all the required documents have been uploaded, a second meeting was scheduled. We went through all the documents, calculated numbers, saw what we could afford, etc. We came up with our date to file and our next steps.
