I've been a few Ledo's in the area and when I find a good one (or a really bad one), I write a review. The Bowie location on Rt 197 is a good one! Due to COVID, I've been ordering online mostly as this option allows me to go in and pickup my order not have to worry about processing payment. This location conveniently has online order pickup shelf where completed orders are placed for customers to come in and easily pickup their order without having to stand in line. The system told me the order would be ready in 50 mins. (No problems since we were 25 mins away.) I arrived in 45 mins, and my order was ready and waiting. I so wish the Ledo's in my area did this. I was in and out within a minute, awesome. The pizza and wings were hot and the order was correct. We ordered pre-cooked bacon as a topping for the pizza, and the bacon was just right. Some locations burn their bacon, and some don't cook it enough. The wings were hot and well seasoned. As for the restaurant and staff; the store had markings for practicing social distancing, and signs with instructions for where to go depending on your intentions. Staff was wearing masks as well. They had an outside dining area setup where tables appeared to be 4 - 6 feet apart. Staff member working this area was observed wearing a mask and gloves. I would order from this location again next time I'm visiting my sister. Four (4) stars only because the pizza could have been cut better. We had to re-cut our pizza. read more

I use to drive to Crofton to go to Ledo's until I found this location was only 3 miles from me. Both times I've gone to the Bowie location my order was incorrect. The first time they forgot my jar of Ledo's sauce. It was only $6 so I left it alone. This time the ordered pizza, the kids size spaghetti & meatballs and wings. I didn't receive any meatballs and my wings didn't come with salary sticks or ranch. Lastly my food wasn't hot and the garlic bread was burnt. I arrived earlier than the time my order was supposed to be ready and waited in the car until that time. I'll drive to Crofton next time. read more

Ordered two pizzas and a salad over phone. When I got there to pick it up the cold salad was sitting on the hot pizza. So now I have a hot salad. I get home and the bacon on the salad is burnt black. I'm not sure why anyone would think it was ok to put that on someone's salad. So i drive all the way back and explain to the cashier the bacon was burnt. She said "Oh that's how our pre cooked bacon looks". I said it burnt, she again agreed and said that's normal for precooked bacon. I asked her if they have any bacon that's not burnt and she said no. I find it hard to believe a place is ok with serving burnt bacon. Also I have had this salad before and it had properly cooked bacon on it. I would give 1 star but the pizza was good. read more

We love Ledos and would go to the one in Crofton, so we were very happy when Ledos opened in Bowie. Food was just as good as Crofton but service sucked - or maybe it was just our waitress. We saw her only 3 times the entire night: take our order, bring our food, pick up payment. Our food took a lonnnnnng time to arrive. There were families seated after us who got their meals before we did. We were 3 adults and one toddler. We didnt get asked for a drink re-fill until she came to pick up our payment. Before that we did most of her work: got up and asked for a to-go box at the carry-out counter and we got up and asked for our check. We should've told management on her before we left. she was very lazy and should probably quit if she is not happy there. My rating is based on service and experience. As for the food, it was pretty good and I would give it 3.7 stars. We had the meat calzone - really yummy! deluxe pizza and lasagna. Lasagna was sweet, it was good but not my favorite. my husband loved it. If we come back, we will have ours to-go. read more

We ordered a large cheese and a large deluxe with crispy bacon, both were waiting for us when we arrived for pickup hot and delicious looking! However when we got home and began consuming the pizzas it became clear that they were not up too the Ledo standard we have come to expect... For the first time ever, we did not finish a Ledo pizza... We will stick to Seabrook, Greenbelt or MLK for future orders. read more

I know they have only been open for one week, but things could have been better. We arrived and had about a 15 minute wait which was no big deal. After we were sat the waitress came and asked us for our drink order, nothing fancy 2 iced teas and a water. It was 20 minutes later that we got our drinks. The reason was she could not get to a computer, I dont know what a computer has to do with drinks, but ok. She then took our food order of a pizza, soup, wings and garlic bread with cheese. 40 minutes later we got the pizza and wings, no soup or garlic bread. The pizza, in my opinion having been eating Ledo's for over 50 years was not up to par. topping were scarce and pizza not done, dough was soft. As i right now I will take this as growing pains and will give them another try in a couple weeks. read more

Ordered a medium pizza for pickup on a Friday at 6pm. Arrived 45 minutes after order. They lost our order. We showed them the call & they acknowledged losing the order. Best they could do was put in an "expedited" order. We left & got a pizza delivered by Vocelli instead. We live very close, but will wait a month to see if they can get their act together. read more

Water. It took me 35 minutes and 4 times asking the waitress to get water. That's not being slammed. That's a waitress who has no business waiting tables. With other mishaps, the manager took 20% off the bill after I had to remind the waitress about that, too. I don't think they were ready to open quite this soon. read more

Burnt pizza. I believe this a new location. I never noticed the location until yesterday. Anyway...I ordered by phone and was given a wait time of 30 minutes. First I was like what on a Thursday for a pizza?? It was fine because I could run errands. So I show up after 30 mins and it still wasn't ready. There were two cashier at the front who acted as if it was their first day. Neither were loud enough to be heard and didnt call out folks names when the pizza was done. One just stared at me until I asked if it was my pizza. The young lady who took my money looked like a deer in a head light. I will have more sympathy for them tomorrow (as I too have been new to a job..its scary) but today I'm hangry and wanted my pizza. It was burnt. I could only eat half of it. I would have have asked for another (the young men did ask me if I wanted to bring it to someone's attention) but like I said I was hangry and half a pizza was better than waiting another 40 mins for another. I will probably return but will wait until they get that new smell off of them. read more

I've been to many Ledo's pizza locations in MD, including the original restaurant that is long gone. This is now my go-to spot to pick up a Ledo's pizza, as the pizzas are made right and I've had good, friendly service the last few times I've been there. It does get busy sometimes, but aside from that I have been very satisfied with the quality of the pizza. read more

A Ledo Pizza shop has moved into the old T. J. Elliot's on 197 at Old Chapel Road in Bowie. My friend and I visited there recently and were not disappointed. Our server, Erica, was prompt and friendly. The pizza was superb and reminiscent of the best pies at the original Adelphi location. An ice-cold pint of Yuengling draft accompanied my meal, while my friend opted for an apple-flavored Crown Royal Whiskey (not my cup of tea, but to each his own.) A pleasing experience. read more

But unfortunately they did not meet the expectations of what a good restaurant should be, first off i overheard a conversation between a worker and a manager, the manager wouldn't let the worker get a sick leave. That is absolutely outrageous as a customer I expect the workers to be treated with respect and care. Unfortunately, they are treated with cruelty, mind this isn't the first time I heard stories about this location cruelty of workers. To make matters worse, i saw a roach in the bathroom. I really hope this location gets better management and treatment of workers. If I could I would give them zero stars. read more

Yikes. Why can't I select no stars. Sigh. Oh well. My first time trying to order online. Called twice. Put on hold, hung up on once. Called again. Explained what I want to order, with toppings. Select the option for toppings. What are the toppings? "I will have to see how to do this". 18 minutes pass. I hang up and call again. She says she does not know. Soooooooooo..I said, "well, guess I will go around the corner to Anthony's". Bright and cheery. "Ok". Hangs up. I call back for a manager. Spoke to Sidney (sp). Related what just happened. "Well, what is she supposed to say"? REALLY? The restaurant industry is in the toilet, and this is their response. Sidney says she has no control over the web site, that is a corporate issue. I just wanted the option for 3 toppings. No one can help? She did offer then to take the order over the phone, but said, "you're very angry". Actually, I am many things. But when deal with a situation like this, I am VERY controlled and VERY patient by design, just so they cannot accuse me of that. Plus, I know that it is difficult to get help, so I am actually VERY sympathetic to what they are going through. Anywho. My first time trying at this location, and definitely my VERY last. read more

This is the first and last time I order here. First off, only 4 breadsticks are supposed to come in an order, which isn't specified on the menu. However, when I got home, there were only 3. I called to confirm how many I was supposed to get. When I told the guy who answered the phone (who was clearly impaired--you know the type) his response was "uhh...alright." Had a great meal here and service at the bar was attentive and fast. pizza and beer ....no frills.....good service and good atmosphere.

Love Ledo's! Always ask for extra sauce on pizzas and sometimes service is great, other times super slow. Wings are really good. All in all, pretty standard ledos. I'll def keep coming back :) read more

I was disappointed when I called to place a pick up order. The person said they could not make the cauliflower pizza that I wanted because they were too busy. That was very strange. I repeated it to make sure I didn't misunderstand and she confirmed. I didn't end up ordering and was bummed. We did place a "standard" pizza order on another date and the line for pick up was quite long. Hope they can get better organized. read more
