My financial advisor had a simple question about the trust that I emailed Shawn about on May 7 2025. I finally received a reply to this question on May 21 which raised another question. I still have not received an answer to the follow up question and 4 months have now passed with me sending reminders and calling for updates. We are now trying to Purchase/Sell a property we own and as we are getting the paperwork done by a different attorney's office, have discovered that there is a document they prepared that has the wrong legal description. Another document that is required was never prepared. We are unable to complete this transaction because of these errors. Mr Healy's office was notified of these problems around 8/25/25 and we are a month out and still do not have the corrected documents so that we can complete the transaction. I have contacted the office numerous times, Including talking to Ralph who was supposed to be their troubleshooter.

My daughter had an ongoing change in jobs that changed her work schedule from nights to days and decreased her income at least 30%. Her ex-husband had an ongoing change in work schedule from nights to days and 80% increase in income. She sought to change her daughter's school district wherein she would receive a private education, 100% of the child's education would be paid for by her grandparents. She also sought to modify child support due to the ongoing decrease in her income. The judge denied our daughter's request to change her child's school district and would not modify the original child support order of $0/month. Per the Court's judgement, her requests were denied "due to lack of substantial and continuing changed circumstances." I can only conclude we paid over $35,000 to go to trial unaware that there were no valid changes for modifying the parenting plan or that the changes (job, work schedule, income) were not effectively communicated and overshadowed by the opportunity for the child to receive a private education at no cost to her parents. Following the unfavorable outcome, Mr. Galloway noted an error made in the judgement, we elected to file a post-trial motion in hopes of getting the child support modified. The office nearly failed to submit paperwork requesting a post-trial motion within the required timeframe. We were told it was because we failed to sign a new contract and pay another retainer. We were unaware; the contract was never sent to us, nor was it uploaded to the client portal. It was only because I followed up after no communication that the paperwork was completed and filed in time. When the child support form was completed for the post-trial motion, the petitioner and respondent incomes were reversed, making it appear as though my daughter has the higher income of the 2 parents and should pay her ex-husband child support. I caught the error before the form was submitted. I expect we were charged for the "review and revision" of the error. The outcome of the post-trial hearing was the same, regardless of the original judgement's invalidity due to requiring our daughter to establish residency in a specific school district by a specific date, she agreed to it and must adhere to it. She must drive 50 miles round trip to take her daughter to school, 50 miles round trip to pick her up, and receives no financial relief despite an ongoing change in her job, work schedule, and decreased income. Our daughter's case was promptly closed by Bruce Galloway Law Firm and we were told the case file was mailed. After 3 weeks of waiting, I called the office and learned the file was sent to our daughter's former address. (The office SHOULD have been aware of her change of address as it was discussed with Mr. Galloway and was a determining factor for retaining his services to file a post-trial motion.) It would have been nice to discuss or seek advice regarding the judgement and whether we should appeal. Edited to note: During the post-trial hearing, the Webster County Assoc. Circuit Judge made comments to Mr. Galloway that seemed unorthodox and sounded like hostility camouflaged in false flattery. It seemed the hearing was just a formality, Mr. Galloway had to persuade the Judge to allow him to present testimony imperative to the final judgement. Maybe the comments and undertone were nothing out of the ordinary. If they were unusual then I pray Mr. Galloway look into the validity and ethical soundness of this particular Court. Very disappointing and a huge waste of money!

Multiple calls from him and his staff over the same issue, with the same information. I was given incorrect information over visitation when I asked that it be explained to me by his office staff. He does not do what is in the best interest of his clients. The only thing he did was pad his bill. A week to trail and he did not prepare or communicate with me or my witnesses. Come to find out he doesn't go to trail very often, per his office personnel . I have filed a complaint to the Missouri Bar assocIation. He shouldn't be allowed to do this to people. Especially not in the worst moments of their lives.

We had some dog smudges in the bottom corners of our cellular shades from them peeking their heads out the window. We were so excited for our house to look and feel refreshed. Cody brought our shades back after construction finished. They were black. (See picture.) Our top rail has a giant scrape across the top. (See picture.) one blind came back with a broken spring. Cody stood by his work, said he would clean them again, and he would contact Bali about the broken spring. And although it was not an ideal solution, he offered to find a paint to match our rail and touch it up. We agreed. Cody was anything but careful with our blinds when he was removing them from our windows. His hands were dirty. He threw them into his van without using blankets. Again, I was nervous but trusted the professional. We got our blinds back May 28, he installed them, again with dirty hands. It didn't take long before we realized our blinds were damaged. Every single blind is scraped and dented. (See pictures.) There are black finger prints on the shades. Cody offered to paint our blind rails but because every blind would be painted, we told him that we didn't feel good about that. He said he would check with Bali about replacing the bottom rails. We have called, we have texted, we have sent his business messages on Facebook. Cody has not called back, he has not texted back, but he responded on messenger saying we would get a refund. $309. He didn't tell us how or when we would get the refund. He also has not followed up on solutions for our damaged blinds. We are still waiting... We are completely disappointed in the service he provided, lack of communication, and are now stuck with damaged and dirty blinds. If we could turn back time, I would have never worried about the minimal dog smudges... I do not recommend 417 Cleaning Connection.l

I was going to meet with her for an inspection Friday afternoon but she didn't get to the place to clean until noon-1 pm. I'm having the place cleaned for an elderly man who is re-locating to Missouri due to health issues. I too am elderly and have a couple disabilities that prevents me from doing the cleaning myself and driving after dark. Makaya didn't finish in time that I could make the hour drive in the dark. Today I went to inspect. She did a good job on the oven, refrigerator and cleaning the kitchen cabinets. The kitchen and dining room floor was not done. I get to the bathrooms, floor as not clean, I pulled out the vanity drawers, they had not been touched. I looked up the vanity and nothing under the vanity had been touched in either bathroom. Photo's below were taken day after she cleaned. This is a house that has been remodeled with fresh paint on the walls and baseboards and all new carpet. There's no construction debris. All that needed to be done in every bedroom is the window seals wiped down and the mini blinds wiped down. On the phone Makaya said no problem. I ask for the tile to be cleaned in the entry way, again she said no problem. She quoted her price and I agreed. Tile to entry way was not touched. Front door tile was not touched. When I text Makala she begin to back track on all we agreed on. I told her I expected a $50 credit back for doing her job. She insisted she could not do that. She never offered to come back and complete the job either. I'm going to file a compliant with the BBB. Caution, she talks a good plan but she will not follow thru. I'm going to try to dispute her charges and reduce her amount by $50. $50 was more than fair considering I had to finish her job. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Very shady the way she charges before she does the work or inspected. By the way, I had a witness to the nasty left in the bathrooms. Just so happen a handyman was outdoors cleaning up, I ask him to come be a witness to the lousy cleaning job.

Do not use Piatchek Law Firm, they do not communicate. I finished the paperwork on January 16th,…read morethey filed on the 19th, and I was later told that they found out the date of the hearing on January 20th, the day after the hey filed. I got a call on February 3rd around 9 am letting me know that my hearing was that afternoon at 1 pm. About ten minutes after that call ended, I received another call from them notifying me that my lawyer had an appointment at 10:30 in another town and he wouldn't be able to make my hearing. I showed up at the courthouse anyway just in case and rescheduled my trial with the judge. I emailed them to let them know the date I rescheduled for and didn't hear anything back from them. I emailed them February 17th to let them know I was going to be there early and didn't hear anything back until my lawyer showed up. Once everything went through, I got a call in March letting me know that my file was closing and we would be getting a refund check. The check never showed up, so I called in late April to check on it. I was told I would get a call back about it in the next few days, but didn't hear anything. I called back the next week and was told that they would have to look into it amd get back to me. I didn't get the refund check until May 14th. I told my lawyer about the lack of communication and he blamed newer staff members. I told the lady at the front desk about the lack of communication and she blamed my lawyer. Everyone seems ready to blame other people instead of trying to find a solution for the lack of communication. I regret not reading the reviews first and seeing that many people struggled with lack of communication throughout their cases. Good price and everything got done, but the lack of communication was infuriating.
