Most massages happen while sitting upright in a chair. But there are 5 curtained off tables. Today as always I initially felt like my masseur may have been purposely trying to hurt me. Felt like that for most of the 20 mins. (Which cost $20). Right up until my shoulders felt relaxed and they didn't ache anymore. It's always pretty much the same here. Everyone is different so if you can't stand a tough massage best try somewhere else. Personally, I find it worth every cent and I thanked my masseur 3 times and very warmly before leaving.
