However, they recently handled a problem very impressively, when my parents' car would not start on the morning of the day they wanted to catch a ferry in the afternoon. They picked it up, found the fault, managed to find the required replacement part at very short notice, and had everything sorted in time for my parents' trip, and all while keeping us up-to-date and staying unfussed.

Basically he told me he's washing his hands of the car and I had to tow it away with the engine in boxes. I had bought the car after having them do the inspection in the first place.
