I've been to Leela's twice, and it's been great both times. It's perfect for a girls' night out or a date night. I've tried the spinach dip, Leela's Favorite Board, and half a cheese pizza, and they were all great. The spinach dip was warm and flavorful, the cheese pizza was thin and crunchy, and the board had a great selection of cheese, meat, fruit, and veggies. I especially enjoyed the inside of the watermelon rind. I haven't tried the espresso flight yet, but it's definitely something I'd go for next time. Service: 1/5 We were seated pretty close to our reservation time, so things started off well...until our server showed up. Our waitress had a noticeably unwelcoming attitude. We had a few questions about the menu, but her answers were vague, and she literally walked away while responding. If you hate your job that much, why are you even here? Food: 3/5 The salad was overly drenched in dressing. The pizza was mid at best. The heart shaped pizza definitely wasn't worth the extra cost...but hey, anything for a photo right? No real wow factor. The drinks, though, were solid...especially the espresso martini tower! Ambiance: 4/5 Very girly and cute...perfect for Valentine's vibes. Just wish there were more photo ops. Came here for galentines. Our initial server seemed... annoyed. Prob cause we were a bunch of giggling women. But we only have a get together like this about 1-2x a year. So we're very happy getting to see everyone and dressing up. We ended up having three diff servers. Not sure if that's normal or they were getting fed up. The second waiter took our drinks away without asking if we were still drinking. We were. I may have had 1/3 of my drink left but I was still sipping it. My friend had more than half her drink and they took it away while we were busy in conversation and gift exchange. I even wanted to order more drinks but a lot of drinks we chose, they were out of!!! Throughout the night, we were constantly told they were out of something. Can't make it. It was a Saturday night at 7pm! Most of our drinks were very tart/sour. I guess heavy hand on the sours or not enough simple sugar (which apparently they were out of!) so that made the drinks not very tasty. They were very aesthetically beautiful but tasted okay. The espresso martinis were the best choice of the night. The food was decent. It was pizza and salad. The ceasar had more flavor. Both had heavy dressing but that it okay with me, maybe not to some. The bbq pizza was tastier than the meaty one. The heart pizza was cute, but smaller and more expensive. We tried it since we were here for galentines. The decor is super beautiful which is what we were looking for when picking location. Our first time to this location but I heard they decorate a lot for most holidays. Service was horrible. I had to walk up to the bar and ask for various things I needed, including salt and pepper, salad dressing, and to let them know that I'm ready to order. The bartender and waitress were too busy chatting it up to even bother with customers. For as expensive as this place is, the service alone would prevent me from coming back FYI, the bartender needs to find another line of work. His attitude was as if he was too good to help people. I love this spot! There's a cozy living room area where you can eat (I think you can even reserve it), plus the bar has plenty of seating and the restaurant itself has lots of room as well. I usually like to sit at the bar -- the staff is always so friendly. They've got great happy hour deals and fun seasonal drinks. We usually go for a flatbread pizza, and it never disappoints ! they have pop ups for each season - can't wait for the christmas one!! read more

I have been to both of the other Leela's located in Uptown and Lower Greenville, but had no idea they had one out here in Trophy Club! It was cute and actually I preferred the layout here compared to the others, with the curved bar and various seating areas. Came to get my Champbong courtesy of Yelp, and it was a cool and fun experience. I stuck around to get some pizza and wine because Leela's pizzas are delicious. I love that they give you the option to get a small or full sized one. This time I chose the half BBQ chicken one, which came with about 4 slices and it is almost like a little flatbread, because the pizzas are all thin crust. The hot honey one is a fan favorite as well, but I didn't want anything spicy tonight. I also had a really amazing and crisp summer wine that I thoroughly enjoyed: it was an Austrian Pratsch wine called Gruner Veltliner. It was so good! Loved the staff, everyone was amazing, super friendly, great service! Lots of regulars here as well. This place is beautiful, and the customer service was top-notch. Yelp and Kendall, thank you so much for this treat. This will be a repeat for me, I love the changing of seasons and being able to experience them all. In particular, I can't wait to see what they have planned for the Fall and Spring. I placed an order online and ordered at the restaurant; for some reason, their full menu wasn't available online. Looking back on that, I'm happy that happened. I'm not a "sit at the bar" person; I often find the seats are uncomfortable, and it's just always been a bit awkward. Here, I actually enjoyed sitting at the bar. The seats were very comfortable and easy to slide into, for us short folks. The bartender, forgive me for not remembering his name, was such a delight. He was an excellent host and was full of delightful conversation. He also, was a great help when it came to the menu. I can see myself going back for a light date-night and enjoying the time at the bar with a few, small bites. Charcuterie Board: Salami Toscano and Salametto Piccante Brie and Gouda - I really enjoyed the combinations. When I go back, I'll switch things up a bit; the sides and the pizza crust crackers were the perfect final touch. Mushroom pizza: - I like the option to get half vs a whole pizza, and one that has a thin crust. Again, I can't wait to see what they'll do during the seasons; I'd love to see if they add something with fig and a fruit, that'd be a winner! Vanilla Gelato and olive oil: - This was the only miss for me; the olive oil and sea salt added were a great addition. However, it left an unpleasant aftertaste. First time at Leela's and it will NOT be my last! My friend brought me for a fun girl's night and I LOVED everything about this cute place! This place is beautiful! The food was amazing! They have a LOT of gluten free options and the menu is adorable! They have gf cauliflower crust for their pizzas (and it was one of THE best pizzas I've had). I got the butternut squash on gf crust with grilled chicken and I will be dreaming about this pizza! I was craving an espresso martini and my friend said they are known for them. When we got there we saw that they have a fall flight of espresso martinis! And oh my goodness they were incredible! It included their original, a pumpkin spice, and a caramel apple one! We got to sit at one of the gorgeous green booths. The tropical decorations are a great vibe. Our server was there in a split second. The pizza came out fresh and hot. It's so yummy. As a Leela's Wine Bar Stan I can honestly say that their Trophy Club location has been by far the most comfortable of them all! The ambiance right now is currently decorated for their House of Hearts pop up in celebration for Valentine's Day, which makes it perfect for a romantic date night or Galentines day! I decided to try their Pinkies Up cocktail which was served in the most beautiful cup! And was very tasty! My go to pizza is always their buffalo! It's not spicy, but super delicious and crisped to perfection! I also indulged in their Cesar salad! Their half portion was the perfect side salad! Came here on a Wednesday night and was seated immediately, the place is very large and decorated for Valentines which was fun. We mainly came to try the themed drinks, but I was pleasantly surprised by the food. The dip trio was really yummy, my favorites were the spinach dip and the avacado hummus. I was slightly concerned when they first brought the platter out, because there weren't that many bread chips compared to how much dip there was, but the servers came to refill it a couple times throughout the night which was nice. The pizza was super delicious, I didn't have high expectations because I've been scorned by thin crust pizza in the past, but I definitely recommend it here. We were able to order drinks and hang out on the couch while we waited. The dinner and drinks were totally worth the wait. The drinks were fabulous as was the pizza. Oh my goodness! Leela's is absolutely gorgeous inside! This place will have you feeling like a million bucks while you dine! The service was amazing and everything that we tried was a hit! Leelas is our go to when we want to get out, something simple but fun and good. The staff there are awesome (Matthew!) their kale manchego salad is our go to and pizzas are so good! So I've been here before and enjoyed the atmosphere, wine food etc. I stoped in on Nov 11th at 4:15 and the door was locked. They open at 4:00....so I walked around the building and entered through the main restaurant. A little inconvenient...but whatever! The first thing I noticed was the decor had already been changed to Christmas. I have to say, the place looks amazing....thats not my complaint. From the time I sat down I noticed Christmas music was playing. My first thought was..."it's a little early for Christmas music". Turns out it was a full on, back to back non stop Christmas music a$$ whipping. I heard the manager tell someone they were running Christmas music "Holiday theme" from Nov 1 to February. That's a bit to much Christmas for me that early...so I hurried through my glass of wine and left. The bartender was nice enough...she didn't know much about wine and gave me a Sauvignon Blanc after I asked for a Pinot Grigio. Not that big of a deal since I drink both. Just a heads up review on the atmosphere incase endless Christmas music isn't your thing either. Personally, I just couldn't take the endless Christmas music onslaught. Ill probably give them another try in March....after they are done dragging the holidays up to the edge of spring. read more
