I went for the Stuffed English Muffin.....Eggs, Bacon (you have a choice of meat) and Cheese on an English Muffin. Simple but delicious! The Eggs are tasty, fluffy and well seasoned.. The Bacon is plentiful. Add the Cheese and a toasty English Muffin and you have a killer breakfast sandwich! I am never disappointed when I go to Lee's. Got the chicken hoagie $12.99 since it was recommended by the menu itself. Tbh, I think it's simple with light flavor; you taste the chicken more this way, and it does use tender dark meat chicken, but can be plain. Portion is fair. The sauce and toppings bar, however, was decked out! There were a dozen kind of peppers and sauces. My fave topping was the pickled jicama and regret not packing some more... the tangy and crunchy flavor was addicting, it reminded me of a ripe korean pear. Note that Lee's Hoagie does close pretty early at 3 or 4pm depending on the day, and it is closed on Sunday. read more

Great place for sandwiches! We had lunch here while visiting Pasadena and thank goodness we did. The sandwiches and onion rings and tater tots were excellent and so was the service. Seating area was no nonsense fast food-ish, but that's what you would expect. They also had a serve yourself condiment area with hot sauces, peppers and pickles, etc. But the sandwiches were the star of the show. I've been here twice already but still haven't tried their hoagies. I drive past this spot every morning and finally decided to stop in for their breakfast burritos. The burritos are pretty good and on the simple side. They're a decent size, not overly big, but enough to fill you up. I usually get the combo where you pick three meats, and I go with sausage, ham, and chorizo. They include some hot sauce which is okay, but what really takes it to the next level is their pickle bar. They have a whole setup of different pickled items and you can help yourself. It's pretty awesome and definitely adds something extra to the burrito. First time ordering a breakfast burrito from Lee's. This morning I ordered the combo breakfast burrito with bacon, ham and sausage. You have a choice of potatos, hash browns or tater tots. I choose the tots and I order a small coffee. I ate inside the restaurant. My order only took about 10 minutes. My order was brought to my table with red and green hot sauces. Both hot sauces were good but I enjoyed the red the best. The burrito was delicious and tots were nice and crunchy. With the combination of ham, bacon and sausage this burrito was the bomb. The coffee that they brew is excellent. It did not need cream or sugar. I drank it black and it was great. My breakfast cost $14 even and I thought that was a great deal. I came here early on a friday morning for take out. There was plenty of parking spots on front of the restaurant. However, the parking spots are a little small and narrow so be careful getting out of the car. I was greeted upon walking in and they took my order and gave me a suggestion for a hot sandwich. My husband didn't know they had that type of hoagie (Philly cheese steak). We also got a chicken hoagie, breakfast burrito, and a turkey melt sandwich. As I was waiting, the owner was chatting with another guest which made it feel very homey. Very casual and they have some tables outside for dining. I was getting my car aligned down the street and walked into Lee's Hoagie House for some breakfast with my daughter. The place was clean and bustling with happy patrons. We were greeted with a friendly hello before even getting to the front desk. We ordered breakfast burritos with crispy bacon and sausage combined. They were delicious and the perfect size! The atmosphere was obviously full of regulars as everyone was joking around and the owner was even sitting with the "mayor" of the regulars. All in all was absolutely pleased I walked in here! There's a reason that this popular restaurant receives so many five-star reviews. When you open the door you are greeted with a friendly hello by the GM and the grill master. I asked for suggestions from among their popular sandwiches and ordered the California chicken club and a side of garlic fries. Both were excellent. This review is solely based on the bacon double cheeseburger, the chicken hoagie, and the bacon & egg breakfast plate. I'm giving it five stars because of their consistency. I don't go there too often, but when I do everything tastes exactly as it did previously. Their flagship chicken hoagie is always tender, juicy, and packed with flavor--onions, lettuce, spices, and pickles make for a great sandwich. The bun is always soft on the inside with a slight crunch on the outside, so you get the best of both textures. The bacon double cheeseburger is char grilled, as is the chicken and most of their proteins, and it's always served with really flavorful grill marks. And they use shredded lettuce which I love! Admittedly I don't get the typical way it's made. I do keep the grilled onions and lettuce & pickles, but I don't get the burger sauce or tomato; that's a personal preference is all. The breakfast is very solid and the basic bases are covered well, and it's maybe one of the best deals in town. Bacon and eggs is $12.99 where most places in the Pasadena area will charge up to out over $20 for the same meal with the same amount of food. The service is you ordering at the counter and someone bringing the food to your table, or handing it to you in a to go bag. The owner and his man the ship. It operates like a well oiled machine tbh. The ambiance is no frills. There are a handful of tables (a few outdoors as well), a soda machine to serve yourself, and a fixins bar. It's very similar to a diner experience, yet somehow perfectly combined with a burger/hotdog stand vibe as well. That said, the place is a perfect eat alone, or meet with friends spot to get a satisfying meal at a decent price. I ordered a pastrami sandwich, mom ordered grilled turkey and cheese, my sisters- Greek chicken salad and Philly Cheesesteak. I come here at least once every other week and it never disappoints. I usually get the chicken hoagie and zucchini fries. I recently got the chicken plate and enjoyed that also! I like that they have the pickled veggies bar and the vibe in here is very family-like; you can tell a lot of the customers have been coming here for years. First time diner and the hoagies on Yelp were what drew me to trying this place. I like to judge sandwich places by trying their version of the "Italian" sandwich. After noticing that there is an Italian and a Super Italian sandwich on the menu, I of course had to ask what's the difference??? Before even getting 3 words out, the man taking my order knew my question and the answer is "there's more meat on the Super Italian". Now you know so you won't need to ask either (LOL) It was a good (big) sandwich as I prefer the mandolin sliced onions and lettuce. Quality meats but the red chili sauce was overpowering so I'd get this without the sauce next time. Yes, there will be a next time as this local family owned business has a very interesting menu with a good vibe and what looked to be several regular customers dining in. From a hoagie perspective, the chicken hoagie is their specialty. The salmon hoagie and meatball hoagie sounds interesting too.
