I recently stopped by this laundromat and had a really smooth experience. One thing I appreciated right away was that they use a card system instead of requiring quarters, which made the whole process much more convenient. When I arrived, the manager was getting ready to drive away. Saying "sorry, the alarm is already set and I have an appointment to get to, you can pick up your clothes in the morning." First, who has an appointment at 11pm??? And second, if you close at 11pm, and there are clothes still drying till 10:30pm, don't close up shop. When my family's washer/dryer broke down, to Lee's Laundromat we went! This laundromat is super clean and really big! They have washers and dryers of different sizes and we never had to wait for a machine to be open. You can get most of your laundry in at one time to minimize the wait. They offer laundry carts for you to easily take things to and from your car too. The parking lot next to it is really large so you'll never have an issue finding parking. Plus they're open early AND late so you can get your laundry done at your convenience. I'll be the first to say it gets boring to wait at a laundromat, but luckily, there's a lot of walkable food in the area. If you really wanted to, you could even walk to the park across the street. They also have wifi if you just want to watch some tv on your ipad or get some work done. read more

Washing machines don't work and they have a no refund policy. They say you can only fill them half way but they charge $9.50 and $13.50 for half full machines meaning you have to pay to do twice as many loads as you would at a laundromat that has properly working machines. Additionally you have to buy a swipe card which means that they are keeping whatever money you don't spend if you decide not to come back. Avoid this business. read more

This has to be one of the better laundromats I've visited. It's clean, there's plenty of carts to load your laundry in, lots of washers and dryers that are all operational (ever been to a laundromat where a majority of them are non-operational/broke?! The worst)...and it's all card based -- no more having to carry your piggy bank around! At first I was so confused as to why it wasn't taking our debit card, until one gentleman explained to us that we had to get a prepaid card. Here are the steps BUT I first recommend you locate the washer and dryer you'd like to use to determine how much money you'd like to load the card with. 1) TIP: Bring cash in small bills ($5s and $1s). Their machine does not handle bills any larger than this. If you need change, there is a change machine next to the ATM. 2) TIP: If you don't have cash on hand, the ATM charges only a $1 fee for withdrawals. Not bad for a convenience fee! 3) Go to the machine to load your card. If you don't have a card, you'll have to first purchase one for a dollar. Once you received your card, you can then load it to any amount you'd like. 4) Load your laundry and wait. Or if you're like me, go to Asia Delight or the Salvadorian spot next door for a bite to eat. Great way to kill time lol read more

At 9:45 I loaded $25 on my virtual card to pay with and the guy let me do that even helped me and then soon as I went to put it in the machine he told me no they are closed and this is at 9:45 p.m. and the sign says they're open till 11:00 well I'm not able to do my laundry here and I didn't even want to dry it I only wanted to wash and take it home and dry it because my dryer works at my house I'm very angry and would never recommend Lee's laundrymat to anybody ever. The guy won't even refund my $25 that I just put on the card that he won't let me use. Sure it's clean inside but this was horrible service and I will never be back here again read more

This is the cleanest laundromat I've ever been to. For the past two weeks, I've had to come here to dry my clothes because my dryer broke. Haven't really had any issues. I will say, I wish the parking lot stalls were a lot wider because it can be a tight fit. I have encountered two dryers that didn't work. I would suggest you put in a few pieces of clothing into the dryer, insert the card, and then start the machine to make sure it actually works before you throw your entire load in there. Other than that, a solid place to go if you need to dry, or wash, your clothes. Also, this is one of those places where you have to buy the card for $1.00 first and then load the money onto the card. This laundromat is located in a strip mall. You have McDonald's, Asia Delight, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Jack in the Box, and 7-11, all within walking distance. Wanted to update my review since this location has been busier since my last one. I usually try to get here when they open at 7am to beat the late crowd. Today I arrived at 9am and it was a bad idea. The laundromat is still kept very clean but the last week I've noticed just one attendant working trying to clean up after everyone. Today was very crowded which is usually ok but there were so many inconsiderate people leaving their clothes in driers and not taking them out. Some were left up to an hour. Finally the attendant has to babysit these people by bagging their clothes and putting them to the side. These lazy inconsiderate people will eventually have clothes missing, but there are signs posted that the business is not responsible for this irresponsible behavior. I don't usually use laundromat facilities, but there are certain household items that just won't fit into your standard home washer/dryer (ie large quilts, blankets, mats, etc). I would say avoid the weekends. It gets busy but there were still a lot of washers to choose from. There were washers of maybe 6 sizes (price ranging from $1.95 for your standard-sized washer to $12.95 for an industrial-sized one). I used the 3rd largest washer for $6.75 and took 30 minutes to finish...not bad at all! I think it was a lot more expensive in the one by FoodMax in the GreenHouse Marketplace. The dryers cost $0.35 for 10 minutes, about your standard-sized dryer. The downside to this is that you have to keep checking to see if your load is dry or if you need to add more time. I took advantage of the $20 for $40 value reloadable card ($1 fee for the card). It's so nice not having to worry about change. You can use the computer machine to load more money. There was also an ATM and bill change machine. If you run out of detergent, fabric softener, or bleach, there is a little store for you to purchase from. If you're hungry, there were also vending machines and 2 tables for eating. Other than those tables and a line of seats, that was all the available options for sitting, unless you want to sit in your car. The laundromat was ideally located at the end of the strip mall where there are more parking and 2 entrances to the place. There are plenty of carts for you to transport your laundry to and from your car and around the laundromat. There were 2 attendants there when I went last Saturday. Next time, I will try to go after work to avoid families with the kids running around. read more

Always went to this laundromat, especially early in the morning. Schedules get busy though unfortunately, and I saw the sign "last wash 10pm". Understandably, I come in at 9pm thinking a quick wash and dry of my uniform would be okay, alas, I was met at the front of the door by an elderly Asian man who worked there aggressively telling me "NO, NOT TODAY, COME BACK TOMORROW". I responded by asking him what the sign on the window was for then, and he again, replied aggressively, "I CHANGE LATER JUST LEAVE". Coming late, I understand that I may not be able to get it done but a polite "sorry, you will not be able to finish by closing if you wash now", would be completely fine with me. With a stressful and busy schedule, this ruined the rest of my night and all the positive experiences I had prior to this encounter. I usually wash around 6am, but I had a lazy day Sunday. I decided to wash around 730pm and my usual go to was way too busy. I went to Lee's because they use cards and stayed open late. I used the four loader washers they were $5.65. which was about 15 cents more than the five loaders at my usual spot so not too big of a deal. I ended up using four total. My loads were more on the three load end, but I like to make sure they get clean. The two Asian ladies that work there were constantly cleaning and I liked that. They were on their grind for real. When I needed a new bag they had no problem helping me and the bag was reasonably priced at $5.95. Lee's would have been a 4 star for sure, but those dryers are trash. It cost 40¢ for 10 minutes. At my usual spot it's 25¢ for 6 minutes and 30 minutes is the max you need and sometimes that's overkill. I used 6 dryers that cost 40¢ per 10 minutes and one big one that cost 65 cents for 10 minutes. I had to go 40 minutes on all the dryers and I realized some of the jeans and towels were still damp. So had I to go through everything and use two more dryers for another 10 minutes. That was definitely that most expensive wash house visit I have made. If Lee's can get those dryers dialed in it will be worth it driving the extra five to ten minutes or takes to get there. read more

EMPLOYEES RUINED EXPERIENCE. I am a super patient, calm person. Also keep in mind, I have a physical disability and it takes me awhile to bend over and pick up clothes. The closing employees tonight were so RUDE. They made me feel really unwelcome, slow and stupid when I was having trouble operating things. I'm glad that they came to help when I needed it BUT they just took the card out of my hand and pressed buttons for me very rudely and never explained anything or asked me what I wanted. They continued to FOLLOW ME around and remind me of the time my ENTIRE VISIT. It was spacious. There were many options, amenities and machines... but I felt like I was being watched, judged, talked about and rushed the ENTIRE visit. From the moment I put money on my card, to exiting the facility. Also... I used the dryers per employee's rushed instruction despite my friend telling me to do 4 loads in the smaller Dryers instead of 2 in the big dryers. Since they were 30 minutes to closing, the employyee was like "No, this one! This one!" While gesturing to the big dryer I was next to. It took longer than 30 minutes to dry my clothes. I had to take home damp clothes so they could lock up. I'm humiliated and defeated. Then replied, "Not at all, it's one of the best and the cleanest." Months later, I moved into Hayward residing with my mother for temporary stay. We do not have washing/dryer system in our home, and my clothes are piling up! They all need to be washed! Ugh!! The drive was short, only 2 minutes from home! :) The parking lot is spacious, plenty of them everywhere. There are a lot of carts you can use to put in clothes to transport them into the washing machines/dryers. This is a total plus because at other laundromat places they don't have many carts as this place. When I entered into the facility, the first thing in mind was the cleanliness. Super clean. There are a couple ladies that work here dusting the top of washing machines, tables, etc. It's so spotless. They are plenty of different sizes for your needs - small, medium, large, extra large, super larger and GIGANTIC LARGE. Yes, I said it. There's this big commercial washing machine that's like a size of a bank vault.... Pretty cool looking though. It has a re-loadable card system - no hassle of using COINS!!! $1 to purchase a new card. It also has a mini laundry store to buy soap and such as well. This is my first time at this laundromat, and what enticed me were all the amenities--free wifi, big space with plenty of machines to go around, and it's at a close distance to where I am staying. However, this place is pretty much a rip off. Here's why: 1. Their machines don't take cash or coins, they only take the laundromat cards that you have to buy and then load money into it. So, in addition to paying money to use the laundry machines, you also have to spend an extra dollar to buy the loader card. What a joke. 2. The machine where you load money onto the card also doesn't take coins, so don't bother bringing your coins to this laundromat, they'll be useless! 3. This place is also expensive. $5 for a standard sized front loader machine. I will not be taking my business here again, which is sad since I already spent $1 on that loader card. One star for the free wifi, and one star for the wide variety of machines. read more

This is by far the cleanest laundromat I've EVER been to! Why? Because they have people actually walking around sweeping the floor up, wiping the machines down, and making sure all the machines are working correctly. Also they have this lite store inside selling all your laundry detergents etc! What's also good about this place is that they have this machine which you pay for a reloadable card ($1) that you use for all machines! How convenient! There's an ATM machine as well as a bill changer machine that changes 5,10,&$20 bills to ones and fives so you can reload your card. No coins though so don't forget! Also they have your typical vending machines with not such a bad selection if you ask me! Yes there may be a language barrier with some of the workers but you need to remember they're just doing their job of keeping this place running efficiently? We needed to do some laundry while visiting the Bay Area and the hotel laundry service was so expensive. We just ran into Lee's Laundromat. And what a blessing. The place is so clean, floors are sparkling, smells like Mr. Clean was just there. Bring your own soap and softener (go to CVS or Target). They have detergent there, a little pricey. There is a bathroom. Free wifi. And industrial washers and dryers. Please don't qoute me on the prices, but is close to it. Small wash is $2.95 (28 minute wash) Large wash $3.95 (28 minute wash) $0.35 for 10 minute for a dryer. There are some nice workers here but I would really appreciate it if they'd update their hours of operation online. No matter what day it seems they always close an hour early. Our dryer at home broke. It was 10pm and I had 2 loads of wet laundry. I did a quick yelp search and found this place closes at 11pm. Got there and put clothes straight into the dryer. The workers there were cleaning up and told me to come earlier next time. I told them I was only here to dry. And they told me "it's ok, just come earlier next time" once more. Ummmmm it's not like I could predict when I need to dry clothes? Plus this place is advertised as last wash 10pm and closes at 11pm! I wasn't even washing. Just hoping to dry for 30-45 mins. There was also people in there starting to dry clothes when I got there too. They also make you purchase a card to reload it, which is $1. Parking is competitive but never impossible in my experience. There's a diverse selection of washers from rows of smaller $3.95's to a single, borderline military-grade super washer that is upwards of $8 if I recall, plus a window concession for when you forget detergents (but why would you?). I like the key card system they employ, which is convenient to load money onto through through two kiosks. It's only a $1 to get one and you'd never need another one save for losing it, which is no biggie, plus an ATM for when you need the cash to load value onto it which also only has a $1 transaction fee. The floors always nice and the clientele it attracts are always non-obtrusive at their worst and polite at their best. I mean, I usually go Saturday afternoons and there's always some space to be had for washing, drying, and folding. Not to mention all the nearby businesses to keep you busy until your laundry is done like Mexican and Asian eateries, burgers, clothing outlets, thrift stores, and a milk tea cafe. It also has free wifi: not exactly blazing fast but it helps when you need to watch your data consumption. read more

Super clean! This place feels safe and the place seems brand new with all the shinny washing and drying machines. I rang the bell for some assistance and the lady came right away and changed my quarters for dollars she didn't want to at first but did it anyway.
