Ultimately tried to explain the $800 charge as for 'extra test drives' to check for issues with the same $2,800 repair I declined because it was not needed. Bauer was extremely rude, demeaning, and angry bc he was called out for these multiple attempts at padding my invoice. He got away with the bulk of it by refusing to allow me to pay what was agreed and wouldn't return my vehicle though i'd driven 4 hours to pick it up on Christmas Eve. YOU are much better off taking your equipment to the dealer for repairs.

The last 5 times in a row my car was there cost me $1,000 each and every single time. Yeah I know my bad live and learn and I finally have. My husbands car was $5,000 for a transmission which only lasted 2 years and wasn't even drivable the next day and needed to be towed as we got it back with a kinked power steering hose. After spending all this money at this establishment on this last visit they had the nerve to charge me for a diagnostic charge of $175 to look at my car which took them 16 days to figure out it was a bad wire. Now let's not forget we have to pay their credit card fee to the bank so if you don't pay cash you will be charged an additional 3% fee which every other company pays for themselves. Then they say you can pay cash. Who the hell walks around with $1,000+ in cash? So between the diagnostic charge and the extra 3% expect to pay $200+ just walking through the door. Now I'll get to how they left my car in shambles. It was quite shocking. Everything from my console, glove compartment and trunk was everywhere and I mean everywhere as if a robber rummaged through my car. I couldn't even get in to sit until I cleaned it up. They took off trap doors to lightbulb access in the trunk and left them in the pile of mess. Funny cause I didn't need any bulbs replaced. Jackie if you read this I am very disappointed. I have been a loyal customer for many years but now I am done.
