The HVAC system in my home is an evolutionary one. As a result, some rooms are cold when others are warm. I needed the airflow balanced in the system so all the rooms were the same temperature. After calling my current HVAC company and finding out they couldn't help me, I started looking. Turns out not many do this. Fortunately for me, Legacy One Heating does. After talking with Karl and having him look at the system, he came up with a plan to resolve this. I scheduled an appointment, and two very professional and caring men came out to fix the problem I was having. Collin and Brian are excellent! We talked about what they were going to do and how they would balance everything. They listened to my thoughts about labeling corresponding components, and went to work. After they made the changes to the ducts, they went around and balanced the airflow coming out of each one so that the airflow evenly covers the whole house. It's a tri-level, so that's three floors with ducting. Lots to consider when balancing the system. I have to say that I am thrilled with how well the system is now working! I no longer need to wear a sweatshirt when I go into my office to work. It's not cold anymore! In fact, there are no longer any cold spots in the house. Just even temperatures throughout. Needless to say, Legacy One is now my HVAC partner. They do everything around a furnace. They are interested in what I have to say, and they are true professionals. Reached out through Yelp looking for routine maintenance on our 2-year-old ductless mini-split system. They gave me a good quote and I gave then the job. I then asked if they could also quote me on routine maintenance for our furnace. They could have easily charged me for an added service, but told me they had a fall special for doing both jobs together that was $30 less than what they had quoted me for just the HVAC work! Says a lot about them, I think. Of course, it's the actual work that matters most. My service tech, Matt, called enroute and gave me an accurate time of arrival. He was very professional and even showed how to do periodic cleaning. He found a leak in our furnace that needed a small repair. He did the repair with no additional charge. This company is great. I've already put them in my calendar for next year's routine maintenance and I would definitely call them if I had any other issue before then. read more

Incredibly fast response, which you might appreciate in an emergency (I'm not). However they charges $275 just to come out and that cost does NOT apply to the cost of the repair. Ended up going with another outfit with all 5 star yelp reviews, who can come out earlier, and only a $70 fee that does apply to the cost of repair. read more

The crew of Legacy One provided excellent professional service. They communicated well with me and my husband every step of the way as each step of the project unfolded with some necessary adjustments. Legacy One and everyone that works there rocks! I had a 30 year old furnace and heat pump that worked but was clearly on borrowed time. I had 3 companies come and bid the job. Karl, the owner, actually came out to bid it which I thought was awesome and showed they are a small, family owned business. I had several questions as this was a big investment and there is no shortage of options or companies to do the work. He responded to each of my questions via email every day and within a couple of hours. The "other guy" did not which cost them the job. Legacy One was not only the most responsive but was also the most competitively priced. The guys that came out did the entire job in one day which included hauling away the old equipment. They were amazing and explained everything they were doing and how everything worked. Fast forward a week later, they sent me a thank you present in addition to a hand written card with the warranty information included inside. Legacy One Heating installed our heat pump several years ago. During installation, they identified a MUCH better location than we'd originally thought possible for the outdoor unit (including a simple tweak that would make it possible) and we ended up with a much better backyard layout as a result. We've also called them out for (minor) service twice now and, in both cases, they showed up within a week of us calling. We had an HVAC install that needed to be done. They did the install and a great job but forgot to do a couple of small things. We are a business and when I called to have our new install inspected, we didn't pass bc they forgot to pull a certain permit and add an outlet. I called the second the inspector left and informed them of the failed inspection and the gal apologized and scheduled the follow up. The employees Orlando, Cristian, and TJ did a great job installing and the guys who came back (maybe the same ones, I'm not sure) did a great job finishing the work that needed to be done. We also had a repair for our furnace that was under warranty, and they sent out their best guy Casey. We love Casey - he does a great job and is always pleasant and explains the issues to me and does the fix. He is kind and always on time. He looks young and the first time he came to our facility, I thought that they had sent out an intern or the "new" guy -but he is so smart and knows his stuff. Karl was extremely thoughtful, attentive, and creative in helping us find the best heat pump and installation configuration for our home. After it was installed, we had an issue where the inspector denied the sound permit based solely on the unit's advertised decibel rating and proximity from the property line (the inspector did not actually come out to measure the sound). Upon hearing this, Karl personally came out with his own sound meter to measure and send the (passing) results to the inspector. The inspector then came out with their own sound meter and the unit passed inspection, no problem. Karl and his team's expertise gave me confidence they'd installed the right unit in the right location, and their attentiveness to the situation saw the project through to a passing inspection. Trevor and TJ did an excellent job installing the unit - they were very professional, friendly, and patient in walking me through their work and answering my questions. I submitted a Yelp request for annual heatpump/gas-furnace maintenance quotes on Friday and received 4 responses, all from 4+ star providers. Legacy One Heating was having a special offer ~$100 off and I gave them a try. I requested and immediately received detailed info on their maintenance checklist. My appt was set for the day I asked for, Tuesday, 4 days later. On Tuesday, I got a message that the technician was on his way. He was scheduled for 10am-noon. He arrived at 10:20am and took a little over an hour to complete his tests. He was professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He offered to explain any facet of my HVAC system multiple times to make sure I knew he was open to anything I wanted. I give them 5 stars because they did exactly what I wanted, they did nothing wrong or negative, and I can not think of anything they could have done to do a better job. read more

Legacy One installed my high efficiency gas furnace about a year and a half ago. No problems in all that time. It is now about 20 degrees in Seattle, and my furnace just stopped working. I called the office, but it had just closed. I pressed the "this is an emergency" number for their after-hours line. Karl answered. He helped troubleshoot what was wrong: It is so cold that the condensation line to the outside had frozen. Karl stayed on the line with me, telling me where to cut the line, so that it could drain into a bucket until a service person could come out. The heat is now on again in my home, and thank goodness, the high is going to be in the 20s for the next several days. Highly recommend Karl and Legacy One! read more

Update: Update in response to the reply from the owner. My claims are certainly not "unfounded". Your team last came to our home for installation on the 17th and declared it could not be done. On 17th we called your salesman -Tim several times to ask for a refund. Our calls were neither returned nor accepted. On 18th we wrote an email to your Salesman & accounting team. We got a response on 19th that a refund will be issued. I have all the emails & call logs as proof. Please verify with your own employees before making unfounded claims yourself. Also the 3 month timeline is absolutely accurate. You came for the first installation 2 months after we first contacted your Salesman. The 2nd installation attempt with the wrong genie lift was another month after the fires installation attempt. If your salesman had told us during the initial inspection itself that installation was not possible, we would have contacted other vendors instead of wasting our time with Legacy One. Original: If I could give Legacy One zero stars. I would. This company does not even deserve a one star rating. We signed a contract with Legacy one to get a mini split air conditioner system installed in our Town Home. Their salesman came over for an inspection and promised us he could get the work done and we paid him more than half the deposit. After waiting for 2 months for our installation date, The installation guys showed up with a Boom Lift that did not fit or cover the height of our townhome. They said an installation was not possible & left. We tried to reach their Salesman , who said he would look into getting a scaffolding /ladder setup instead. He promised to call back but never did. We had to repeatedly call back to reach him & finally managed to schedule another inspection. The salesman & the owner, subsequently came over for another inspection. We suggested the use of a scissor lift. They agreed it would work & left. We agreed that the right model of scissor lift for our home would be the genie - 3246. After waiting for another month, they finally showed up for installation with the Wrong lift model again. Instead of genie-3246, they brought the genie -3232 which did not have the height clearance to fit. We had to print the manual for the genie -3232 to show the team how they could reduce the height & fit the lift in our space, he seemed very reluctant to get it done. Finally, the owner decided that the lift might not fit & declared that he cannot installed the air conditioners for us. Subsequently we kept calling the salesman to demand a refund of the amount we paid (over 8000$) and he literally neither picked up or returned our calls. After multiple calls & emails we finally got our refund. This company shows zero interest in getting the work done once they have your money. And equal reluctance to issue refunds. 3 months of time & effort completely wasted on Legacy One. If installation was not possible, we would have liked to know on the day of inspection itself. Their salesman, clearly has no clue on what his installation team can do or cannot do. I would never recommend Legacy One to anybody. Most incompetent company ever. read more

Our air conditioner of 15+ years finally died a month ago. I typically only use All Climate Heating and AC and I again was considering using them to install our new unit. They gave us a reasonable bid and I was getting ready to sign their contract when my wife was given a referral to speak with Tim from Legacy One Heating. I decided it couldn't hurt so I met with Tim and I really liked him a lot. He was down to earth and very trustworthy. After receiving his bid which was about the same and researching Legacy One, I decided to give them a shot and install our AC. I must say that I was very happy with the results of the work- we love our new air conditioner and they also fixed our air purification system. This company is a smaller company and I feel like they give better service than what I have had before- more attention to detail. It could not have been easier to request a quote, schedule, and pay. I requested a quote through Yelp which I was sent very quickly along with appointments available. I was able to pick one of the appointments through the app and have it scheduled. They sent me a few reminders via email and text which included info if I needed to cancel or reschedule. On the day of they were running ahead of schedule and came early (with permission). I was sent a link to see exact ETA of the tech and could watch arrival on a map. Ty was professional and changed out the filter for me. Otherwise I just requested regular maintenance which was completed. I received an email with the invoice including link to pay online. I replaced my furnace, with installing a new AC unit back to 2021 with them. The installation process is pretty smooth and pleasant for me. The unit runs without any problem except the heat was out for a day last winter when I was not at home. In this year's free annual inspection I told the technician Casey the issue, Casey was super helpful to debug the problem happened last year which we cannot even reproduce. Finally we find the issue is condensation pipe (which belongs to my old unit, not part of the new installation). Casey was very helpful to stop by another day to fix the issue which fits my tight schedule without charging. Casey is one of the most nice and helpful technician I ever worked with. His pricing was more than fair and he was able to get the install done in a week.
