What is "quite frustrating" Alan, is this. There was NO "fraudulent debit card charge." This was a charge at the end of last year that I did not remember, so I merely asked for more merchant information in an email to Alpine. I also need to correct something else. Your bank didn't just put "a hold on my card." A simple info inquiry made it IMMEDIATELY INVALID. As for "prevent further fraud," that sounds noble and all, but there was NO FRAUD in the first place! While I appreciate the "info@" address you provided to "help navigate the frustrating situation that is debit card fraud," I'm all set. Your entire response is clearly right out of the corporate handbook, and I'm just plain tired of that.
