Save your self the headache and stress of worrying how you will fix all the mistakes she has created and hire some one else. My son's court date is in two weeks and all she can say is good luck finding some one else to fix it before then. She wants to say we have no empathy because of all the problems she has in her personal life and all the excuses why the paperwork had so many errors why did I pay some one and have to spend the time spell checking everything and also have to spend more money hiring a lawyer then she blames me that this case went on so long. My wife needed help. Her son cannot speak, he is autistic and will never be able to work or live on his own. As he was approaching 18 she needed to file for a conservatorship to ensure she could manage his healthcare, legal affairs, and life in general. Debbie made it sound like she would help her through the entire process and for a reasonable fee, this could not have been further from the truth. The initial drafts of the documents had tons of mistakes, typos, and even the wrong name in a couple of fields (someone we did not even know). It took multiple attempts and hours to edit the forms (that maybe we should have just figured out how to fill out ourselves). As we are trying to get these documents corrected Debbie has a string of bad luck... or that is how she presented it. At one point her cell phone broke, then her computer had issues for days, after that she said she got covid and actually told us her building burned down and now she is in a motel with covid for a second time. It was just one thing after another as to why our forms were not done in time or correctly. As we get further into the process and court fees have been paid and forms submitted we find out from the state the forms are completely wrong she has filled the wrong type of conservatorship so when we confront Debbie about this now all the sudden she says she is not a lawyer and her contract is very clear she can't provide legal advice. She says it was up to us to know everything. SO what did she do exactly except take our money and poorly fill out forms wrong? We now need to hire a lawyer to fix all of this mess as we already have a court date. It is going to easily cost us double to fix the mistakes. And worst of all, she has put our disabled son's status in jeopardy and we need to act quickly to resolve the mess she has left us in. Debbie is refusing to refund our fees paid and challenged us to sue her because she has an iron-clad contract that says she is not responsible. Buyer beware here... read more

Please take the time to read ALL of the reviews posted recently & save yourself a lot of trouble & frustration. A local tax attorney recommended finding a paralegal with experience to assist in drafting uncontested divorce paperwork. My ex-spouse & I met initially in Debbie's home/office where we thought she would be the EXPERT in her field. While I have zero doubt that Debbie was probably the expert in her field at one time, something has happened that has made her super unorganized & quite frankly confused. Our initial draft of the paperwork was incorrect & then it snowballed from there. Each time we tried to point out the errors or ask for clarification, we did get a fast response but it was constantly with additional mistakes being made & Debbie never actually addressing our questions. Each revision worse & worse. There were constant excuses about her broken computer or email problem, etc. But as time went on the excuses turned into talking about her own personal dilemmas to the point that one response to me was that she had her own stress & basically couldn't deal with mine. (I couldn't help but remind her that I was the one going through a stressful divorce!) During our process Debbie's behavior became irrational. She was profoundly unprofessional & downright rude. She began blasting me with emails accusing me of altering documents on her computer while at the same time saying she was unable to open those documents that were being sent back & forth electronically among all parties. It became very clear to my ex & myself that she was not very computer savvy. In an attempt to help Debbie understand what we were asking for I asked to schedule an in person appointment. She began yelling at me in an email about how she refused to allow people in her home due to COVID. We had already been in her home (which I had to remind her) & I had zero confidence that we could meet virtually. Not only was her behavior in question, I did question her ethics as well. At one point she threatened to charge us an hour of work to change an address on a document. I did question this to which it almost seemed like she implied that it never happened. We chose to terminate her services & she did agree to refund our money (which is why I gave her 2 stars instead of 1). The point of this review is to say, if you already understand EXACTLY what legal document you need, I bet she is amazing. She has the knowledge to be skillful & if you have legal background, I do trust that she can file your paperwork with the court. But if you are like me & you have never had any experience with the legal system & you need someone's assistance, she's NOT your girl. Her mistakes would have potentially cost us thousands in addition to the thousands we just spent hiring someone else. I am so happy to have found Debbie. I was thinking of doing the paperwork for my (non-contested) divorce on my own. I've figured out legal paperwork before (I did all of my soon to be ex-husbands visa papers) and I was really low on money, but I knew it would take months to figure out and I dreaded the thought of doing it, let alone doing it wrong. This gal is a scam! Please do NOT use her services. She was "supposedly" helping me, however she sent me several emails with different spelling of my name, and more, other people's emails, She emailed me someone's legal documents with complete info from both parties and with child custody issues. I had contacted her right away and she laughed and said, oops! This document had lots of private info on it! I requested a refund and she said NO, however thank goodness I did a bank transfer and bank issued me a credit. read more
