I've been here a few times. Hein and Nancy are badass!! But, there is ALWAYS a long wait. Always! Which it me is a good thing, right? Means they must be doing something right. Hein takes much pride in his work. He takes his time. He's very friendly and knowledgeable. Nancy is very kind as well. Always does a good job. I never posted a review here because like many of the reviews my gripe is the wait i mean even when calling ahead or making an appointment it was very rare that we would arrive and my son go straight to the chair. 1 time his barber Nancy was not there and he let another girl cut his hair and umm NO we went right back in and Hien had to fix his hair. The owner Hien and his sister Nancy are amazing at what they do see my son photo but bruh the wait and music were too much for us so we were blessed when his new barbershop moved closer to our side of town and we have been good since the change. You can visit if you have time because it will be a nice haircut with Hien or Nancy I'm not familiar with the work of anyone else but I do understand like most the wait is often too much and the music also not kid friendly. read more

I had last month gave this place a 5* review. I've read the negative reviews about them not respecting time...that was never an issue on the multiple times I've come here... until this morning. I arrived right at 10 (everywhere says it opens at 10). Already one in the chair and another waiting. After 45 minutes I was then told by Hien that he had an appointment at 11 and the other guy would get to my son next when he was done with his customer. That dude kind of smirked and said he had an appointment at 11 too. After that I just got up and walked out. I get appointments, I get having to wait for things. I dont get, as stated by numerous reviews, the lack of communication or heads up. I've even heard them talking about the reviews and on the phone complaints about this issue to which they brushed off as "well they should have asked what the wait time was" The lack of give a shit is strong and unfortunately I got a full helping today. Came here and thought I was next for a haircut. Little did I know that you MUST have an appointment. What made me mad is no one told me Until about 30 minutes later that I had to wait for 2 other people thinking I was next. Also don't bring your kids here. Terrible greeting service- you have no way of checking in or knowing who you will see as a walk-in since no one acknowledges you. Hair cut was good but we had to sit through some terrible Tv show that did nothing but drop F-bombs and show gross pranks the entire time. My kid didn't need to hear/see all that. Hien is a super nice dude and is the best barber I've ever had. Problem is he's always behind even when you make an appointment, you'll still be waiting at least 30 min. One thing I never understood is he always used to joke and laugh about another barber that would always be behind schedule when Hien does the same exact thing. His sister Nancy is really good too and she's usually not as busy so I booked the last few appointments with her. But after today, I won't be going back there. Neither of them respect your time. It's a shame because like I said they both are great barbers but they need to do better with keeping appointment times. When he use to have his shop on Bay Area he went out of his way to pick up my son for his haircut because I had a flat tire. Awful wait-times!! Even when my husband makes an appointment 3 days in advance, we end up spending AT LEAST 2 hours from the time we walk in to the time we leave. And he's been going here for years! They didn't used to be like this! We keep trying, hoping that this is just a hiccup but this past year it's been every time! The only reason he's given them multiple chances to correct it is bc he trust them and they're close. Good fades but nothing special. This was the last time and we'll go ahead and drive an extra 20 mins from here on out to his other barber to be taken on time as we're usually on a tight schedule. The woman that cut my hair did an awesome job! I got compliments all weekend on my cut. Not sure of the woman's name but she did great. Definitely worth giving it a shot! read more
