Edged circles in the yards. The said the edging was perfect though.

UPDATE: Since posting this review Tommy called threatening a "legal battle." This is a perfect example of the main issue I had with this company: Tommy's attitude. As I said below although the review was long I didn't go into how I came out and caught someone going upside my house with the edger. I didn't talk about how we had to keep up with our own fertilizer and weed treatment schedules and repeatedly ask Tommy to do treatments on our yard. ________ The absolute worst landscaper we've ever had in the community. *Warning it's a long one (and it's the condensed version.) ****They started out amazing for the first few months. The team was overly attentive very kind and did AMAZING work. **** So we hired them to do a really large landscaping job for the community and this is where things went left. The job was done OK. There were many punch list items that weren't done and when I asked Tommy about it he said "there were 16 homes involved the crew can't check all of that." The job was to lay sod and a couple rock beds etc. During their weekly service the crew started scalping the new sod and it died. When we would speak to Tommy about what was happening he would say things like "oh these guys make $11-$12 an hour they can't remember everything" or "you guys were so happy what's wrong?" When we were writing him and calling him and texting him to tell him what was wrong. He doesn't deal well with non-happy feedback. A couple months later, other areas of the community needed sod and Tommy and Co. needed to fix the places where they killed the sod. We hired them to do a second job. (stupid I know but they were trying to do better) However it had started to get a bit hot and so I asked Tommy was it too late to do sod as rule of thumb is Spring and Fall. He says no. This job was done OK but like last time there were punch list issues. Tommy said "we talked to him about too many things that he couldn't remember them all" (Mind you he NEVER EVER took notes.) We met I (the client) typed the list and emailed it to them complete with photos and a recorded conversation. They still had to come out to the property 3 times to handle it (removing a pile of dead tree that we spoke about 3 times, marker flags, putting sod on all the places that Tommy marked.) He lied to us to much I started recording meetings. The final straw: The HOA kept telling Tommy we started having large circles cut into the front yards. I sent photos as we had to speak to him repeatedly about them. Our front yards are all tiny so it was in our contract that the front yards were done with a push mower. I was on vacay one day and saw a man cutting the yards with an edger with my very own eyeballs. When I told Tommy about this he said that his guys said it didn't happen and the edging was perfect. At this point, we hired someone else because chasing behind Tommy and Co was a full time job. The new landscaper said that Tommy lied to us and it was too hot to do the second sod job. It's now barely holding on. It's obvious to me that something happened when the work started to decline after a few months. There was a crew manager that I no longer saw. Tommy has NO customer service skills. Like I told him, "issues will happen in any business it's all about the service you provide when they do." He was beyond rude and to imply that the guys couldn't do a good job anymore because they were paid $11 was ridiculous. I remember working for less than $5 an hour at points in my life and my team still did an amazing job. My advice to him is learn to use a check list and stop being rude and begin to listen to your customers. Also, you may need to get someone to be a barrier between you and your customers if you are unable to deal with people.

They spent several months sourcing materials and visiting my property repeatedly to ensure that got my project done exactly to my specifications. Their pricing was very fair and they were beyond, patient, courteous, and professional throughout. My property suffered from severe drainage issues which was putting my foundation at risk. Additionally, grass could not grow in some areas due to the sheer volume of water flowing around my home. Orlando and his team diagnosed the issue and gave me very reasonable pricing options to fit my budget. Orlando always answered my calls and spent copious time discussing the project details and reassuring me of their strategy to transform my yard. When they came out, they brought a sizable team and had a dedicated project manager on site all day. They we're able to finish the project in one day (11 hours)! I am happy to report that the drainage issues have been fully resolved as a result of their great work. Not only do I now have peace of mind, but I now have the nicest yard on the street. There are no weak links on this team. I cannot more emphatically recommend this company. I have already referred them to several friends, family, and clients. Look no further - you can't go wrong with these guys.

For anyone who knows Robert Harden (Harden Designs) - DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY FOR ANYTHING!!!! I felt…read moreobligated to warn people based on our awful experience with him so wanted to get the word out on various platforms. He is absolutely the worst contractor I have ever hired in my life. We hired Robert in September to "flip" our back yard. He was supposed to completely clean out the brush, build a deck with seating and stone fire pit, stone stairs, led lighting, etc. We were excited to get a backyard outdoor entertainment space but sadly just wound up months and months of lies and aggravation that resulted in kicking Robert off the project even though we had significant money that we had already given to Robert. The project was supposed to be a 25 - 30 business day project approximately for completion. 7 months into things the picture below is where it was left. There were many beautiful days he could have been working on it that he was a no show. He never even completed the brush cleanup that he said he would have a dumpster in the first couple of weeks delivered to remove it. So many things Robert told me would happen and never did. Timelines and assurances that were total utter BS. The days he was here were so unproductive that sometimes you couldn't even tell he did anything. I think he was just hanging out back there smoking a lot and on his phone. I also found out in the process that Robert's business had also been shuttered in his divorce so he is not licensed or insured, which presents a liability concern if someone were to be injured on your property. He stated that he was going through some personal issues and considering this we were beyond patient. After 7 months of his feet dragging though I reached my limit and kicked him off the project. Below is the mess I now need to find a contractor to help complete. If anyone knows someone with work ethic and quality that can help get us across the finish line I would greatly appreciate it. We need it to look good and are open to ideas since it's a mess right now. I just wanted to warn the community so we can maybe spare someone else from experiencing what we did and losing a bunch of $ in the process. Sorry for my long winded post. Just wanted to share as a warning to all.

I couldn't find the shut off valve so I started calling irrigation specialists. My hope was to get a tech to come out to find the cut off valve and to replace the cut irrigation pipe. The best I could get was a next day service call. I finally called All About Irrigation & Landscape Services. I spoke with John Watson. I described the problem to Mr. Watson. Mr. Watson told me that they could schedule a tech for next Tuesday or send one out today on an emergency call. Mr. Watson warned me that the emergency call would start at $250.00. Mr. Watson then offered me a third option. He told me to take photos of the area around my water meter, send them to his phone and he would mark them up to show me where I would likely find the shut off valve for the sprinkler system. Mr. Watson was juggling other customers calls while we texted photos back and forth. Following Mr. Watson's instructions and using the bayonet in a minefield technique I found the box containing the shut off valve buried under an inch of sod. Thanks to Mr. Watson I was able to safely turn the water supply to my house back on. I don't know what Mr. Watson's role with All About Irrigation & Landscape Services is but his efforts won me over as a customer.
