Not only that, Tony and Kathy kept on going on about how horrible my handbag looked, to begin with. I brought in my handbag to get a tear fixed. And they didn't fix it. They said that "of course, it wasn't going to be fixed for $113". They were spewing lies saying that I was very stingy on price when I came in. They have footage of that conversation but refuse to release an untampered version of it. On top of Tony yelling at me, Kathy clearly didn't read my e-mail and just stated that I was lying. I asked her what service I paid for if they didn't want to fix my tear and she couldn't even answer it in the call. She was saying that they did nothing to my bag... even though I paid over a $100 for a service? I just got scammed. After that TERRIFYING PHONE CALL FROM THE STAFF, they told me to come in. I wasn't going to come in because I'm SO SCARED after that phone call. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE COMING IN AGAIN. I just opted for a full refund of $113 but they are only giving me back $90 because despite the physical evidence (receipt and bank statement) they claim that I only paid $90.

Lo and behold, our washing machine did not drain and there was wool dryer ball fluff everywhere... I was panicking! I'd never broken a washing machine before! So I took to Yelp and found Ronen's company and messaged them through Request a Quote. Ronen got back to me SUPER quickly and was actually able to come the day after I reached out to them. He did tell me there was an initial diagnostic fee, but it could be credited to the repair. Ronen came during the time window that he gave me, found out what was wrong with the machine, told me what the issue was and quoted me on the spot (we had a broken drain that needed to be replaced) for about ~$415 + tax. I really needed the washer fixed, so I agreed and Ronen went ahead with the fix. All in all, for someone to have come the next day to find the problem and fix it within an hour or two while causing as minimal disruption to our family's day-to-day, I'd say Ronen's price was honest and worth it! From the time I used Request a Quote to the time Ronen walked out of our unit, the communication was clear, concise, and very helpful. Vik and his team were great. After an initial FaceTime consult, his team came out and were able to change the dryer duct to the side vent, which the allowed us to push the washer and dryer all the way back in the closet. They were knowledgeable and polite, and addressed all my questions and concerns. The dryer has worked perfectly ever since. The only surprise was an additional $160 fee for tight spaces (which wasn't included in the original quote). So heads up if this applies to you.
