*****NOT ETHICAL***** When we visited the model home/office we were taken to two homes to look at;…read morea 3/2 and 4/3. The 4/3 was being sold at a discounted price of $298,000 according to the sales person Marisa. We loved both homes and did not need a 4/3 but for the price we decided it was a great deal and we wanted it! Marisa told us to sleep on it and come back the next morning if we wanted to move forward. We were pre-approved for the loan THAT NIGHT for $298,000 for THAT HOUSE. We went back the next morning as we were advised and sat down with Marisa and she said there was a mistake and the house we were applying for was no longer $298,000 it would be $308,000!!!! We said absolutely not! This is not ok, the pre-approved loan we electronically signed LAST NIGHT was for $298,000 for THIS HOUSE! So she stepped away and said she called her management team and they were "willing" to come down to $304,000. We were disappointed to say the least and had a gut feeling we should have looked elsewhere because they are already being unethical. HOWEVER, we loved the location and the home and after thinking about out finances we decided to move forward. After that meeting with Marisa and signing papers it went DOWNHILL from there! Apparently as of that day or week, we have no idea, Marisa is no longer there and we were assigned another associate named Sabrina. We were never contacted, introduced or advised that someone else would be our point of contact. The only two people that would help us with any questions was Jake or Paul and that was regarding the loan process. Fast forward to move in day. We moved in on a weekend as normal people do, hooked up our dryer and it kept tripping the breaker box. We had nobody that would reach back out to us because it was a weekend and when the did send the electrician out Monday or Tuesday, he said there was a special way to hook up the appliances since they were "our own". At the time it didn't make sense but he got us taken care of and the dryer situation was handled. At that time we also had no idea we had a "warranty" point of contact, Jordan. Before moving in nobody mentioned anyone was supposed to come out and go over all of the warranty items in the home so had the dryer issue not happened we may not have ever known! Jordan then came out and went over a few warranty items with my husband. We just moved in so we would have no idea about the irrigation system, or if anything was wrong with the home until after we move in. After our first month in our home we get our first water bill. The water bill was $449.00!!!!!! My husband called Marion Utilities and they advised us this is an ONGOING problem with Lennar and the average electric bill in our community is $86.00!!!! They went on to tell my husband that we used 72,000 gallons of water!!!!!! 72,000 GALLONS!!!!! This is absurd! There's no way! Something must be wrong! Well, the lady at Marion Utilities said this is a problem with the irrigation system that Lennar does not tell the new home owners that they have the irrigation system on a setting that uses 72,000 GALLONS OF WATER to get the new sod rooted and growing well and they should probably readjust the timing of the system now as 72,000 GALLONS OF WATER IS NOT NEEDED!!! So we sent an email to Lennar requesting a reimbursement of $349 leaving us paying $100 water bill which is still above the average and it was forwarded to Jordan. They requested a copy of the water bill and sent someone out to check for a "leak". The response we received was that the irrigation system was not a problem brought up when she came out to go over warranty items (AGAIN WE JUST MOVED IN 72 HOURS AGO) and the irrigation system has no leaks, it is the new home owners responsibility to readjust the irrigation system (AGAIN HOW DOES A NEW HOME OWNER KNOW THAT IF ITS NOT MENTIONED) the water used is our responsibility and they will not be reimbursing us any amount for the astronomical water bill of $449 for the use of 72,000 GALLONS of water!!! This is a huge disappointment for us and asking for $349 from a multi million dollar corp such as Lennar is pennies in the bucket compared to middle class working parents having to pay a $449 WATER bill!!!!! THANKS A LOT LENNAR! I HOPE THE ALL OF THE FUTUE HOME OWNERS IN THIS COMMUNITY GET BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE THAN WE HAVE GOTTEN! You jacked up the price of the house $10,000 in less than 12hrs, and because your associates didn't do their job advising of of all of the necessary steps we had to pay an astronomical water bill that should have been less than $100.00! Sincerely, regretful home owners!

We were looking for house in Ft Myers area. Spent hours with a realtor for few days but nothing…read morecaught our eyes. We met another realtor out on our last night about new subdivision. We decided to come out next day to look at it. Text guy we met and he said to go see Brad at Lennar model homes. We went to office to see the agent and model. He kind of brushed us off and didn't show us the model but we were able to see it by ourselves. We then met the realtor and agent for about 5-10 minutes to talk but advised I had to leave and catch flight. We advised them of this few times. He wrote down our information and we left. I then received a call about a house that was up for contract got cancelled and if we were interested as it was the same as what we are looking for. So we talked and agreed as this was perfect for us. Everything going well until we came down to see how it was progressing. This was not the model we saw and Brad advised he told us it was not the same as the model we saw was no longer being built the same way and had some changes. Well he never showed us the model at all I reminded him and he advised he shows everyone the model and explains them the changes. The house is still nice but the agent Brad is a liar for sure and many issues with the house since we moved in. My main purpose of this was to call out Brad as he lied about several things about the house. This was my main concern about Lennar agents. The review for homes are not great as they quickly get things done but not to standards. We have filled out service tickets as we have a year to get everything fixed to our likings. Please be careful when choosing to work with Lennar homes and people.
