The pants were in excellent condition when dropped off, and cost me $165 when originally purchased. They were tailored specifically to fit me and held personal and professional value. Unfortunately, after picking them up, I discovered that the waistband had been severely stretched, rendering the pants completely unwearable. When I returned to the cleaners to report the damage, the employee (Linh) acknowledged the issue, measured my waist, and promised a repair. Weeks later, instead of fixing the pants, I received a private message offering reimbursement and asking to keep the matter "between us." While I was eventually refunded, the situation was handled quietly, with no apology, no transparency, and no accountability for damaging a garment that could not be replaced. The bottom line: Payless Cleaners ruined my pants, failed to repair them, and only issued reimbursement after I insisted--and documented everything. If you value your clothing, especially high-quality or custom garments, please think twice before trusting this business. What happened to me should not happen to anyone else.

I brought a comforter to be cleaned and during the cleaning process the material inside of it had become displaced and the stitching came loose. I did not discover this until I spread it out on my bed. I brought it back and spoke to the owner and was extremely disappointed with her response to the situation. She took no responsibility and offered no form of compensation. I asked her why after they saw the damage they didn't advise me of the problem, why did they just wrap the comforter and take my money. She just shrugged and said it wasn't their fault. It saddens me that she would so easily dismiss a loyal customer that she sees at least twice a month. The short sightedness of her action to such a small problem gives no indication that they would be able or willing to address larger concerns. I'm sure many will have nothing but wonderful things to say about this business and its owner and until today I was one of them. Our true nature is shown when we take accountability for our actions, or fail in that process. They always provide dry cleaning service with a smile, and their alterations are impeccable-- they have altered a homecoming dress for us as well as providing plenty of other services exactly as requested, and they are extremely reasonable compared to other places around Quakertown. They have always bent over backwards to help us with any issues we have had.
