Often I'll get to the bus stop on Marion Street near Elswick only to discover that I don't have a ticket and so I'll hastily run up to the Leichhardt Newsagency and procure one as quickly as possible.
The Leichhardt Newsagency is a small shop, but full of a wide selection of magazines and newspapers. They sell all the things that you would expect to buy in a newsagent and the women behind the counter is always very friendly and always tells me to have a good day.
Once I went there and they were out of tickets, which was an issue, but I've been there at least ten times since and that late delivery of tickets never rehashed itself, so I think that was the rarest of occasions. read more
