Her communication is unmatched, from our initial zoom consultation to staying in touch with us and our daughter learning about her and her style, interests and ideas for HER senior pictures. Tammy guided us every step of the way and helped with clothing choices, hair styles, accessories, etc. This was so much more than a couple of photo sessions. It truly was a custom-tailored experience for Sara. Both of our sessions were at outdoor locations and were a perfect fit for what Sara wanted. We never felt rushed during our sessions and Tammy spent so much time helping her through the poses and making sure that she was comfortable and relaxed. Tammy has an entire wagon loaded down with everything you can imagine making sure the session goes smoothly. From water to a mounted mirror and even a portable speaker so Sara could have her favorite playlist playing during the sessions. That was a great touch that really helped put her at ease! Our photos could not have been more amazing. The selection process was so difficult, there were SO many amazing pictures narrowing them down was almost impossible!!! Tammy worked so hard to help us narrow our choices and we were never pressured into more than we had budgeted. We picked out our prints and products and the entire process was so easy! I wanted high quality senior portraits of my son, TJ, and she came through! We had our session in her home studio, and even though my session was for just one hour, she didn't mind taking her time to really work with him to ensure the shots were just right. He had three outfit changes, and we chose three different backgrounds. She went through numerous poses, styled the lighting differently throughout the session, and did all but hang from the rafters (she's petite and TJ is 6'2") to get the shots she felt would look best. The resulting photos were amazing...it was SO hard to narrow our choices down. Again, she never made us feel rushed or pressured into more than we budgeted for. She guided us through our options for prints, and showed us some examples of what those look like as final products. The mobile app for the final photos is a great idea. I've sent it to all my relatives, living all over the world, to get their requests for printed photos -so handy! 10/10 would highly recommend Tammy to handle your event photos...I'm calling her in 4 years when my daughter graduates! First, I read reviews and really combed the Yelpers pictures. Studio E had a strong presence and I liked what I saw. Next I took to the Wild Wild Web, to see which photographers had a good web presence and what I found was amazing. To me, your website is like walking into your studio. It should be well organized, up to date and "clean" (no misspelled words, etc.). It should not be full of stylish pictures of you and your family, it should not have last year's dates and why is that family standing in front of a house? Art is one thing, wacky is another....does every picture have to been totally off center? I know, back to my mission and I'm looking for professional head shots and once again, Studio E Photography's website scored 5 stars. Wow, they even had their pricing structure clearly stated and easy to find. The pictures on it was stylish and gorgeous. And hey! I remember see that bridal picture on Google images when I was researching my Gillespie review! Michelle called me back in a timely manner and we made an appointment for an outside photo shoot. The day of the shoot, it was raining, and she called and offered to move it. But I already had the whole hair and makeup appointments set up, so we did the inside shoot. It took about 45 minutes. I could not be a model. I don't have the patience and do not take direction very well. And there is the whole, "stand this way" and "put your chin that way"....but Michelle was super patient with this photo novice and let me comb through pictures and change blazer to sweater to blazer. No to the blue blazer that made my hair look like bozo orange. She was casual and easy to talk to. Her whole demeanor puts you at ease and the studio is a cozy little office off of Hurstborne with the beautiful portraits lining the stairs on the way up. I felt very zen in her sitting room as we looked through other head shots. The pictures were ready the next day and she Dropbox'ed them to me. They were great! I've gotten so many compliments on them and they are plastered over all of my social networks and resume sites. She sized them perfectly for uploading. This helped seal my resume package and gave me the confidence to go after those Senior level jobs that I have the experience for! Beware - owner Kimberly Melloan tops the list of most difficult to deal with. She was…read moreunprofessional with the athletes and rushed them through the session. She ask several times which photo my daughter wanted on her banner and was told several times to use a specific photo. Without any discussion, Kimberly selected a different photo by claiming the original photo was blurry and it looked like my daughter was falling in it. The first question would be, if the photographer wasn't able to take a clear picture, why wouldn't she offer a retake? Instead, Kimberly selected a photo of her own choosing to be displayed on a banner at school. I've contacted Kimberly several times and she replies days later with a snotty disposition and offers no amicable solution except for me to spend $60 to get her to print the picture that she made the decision to replace. If you have any doubt to my review, please read through her responses to others who have filed complaints with her. She is quick to place blame on others and shows zero effort towards providing a solution.
