We did it. What a hike! Came here with my brother last month. We arrived around 6am in the morning…read moreand since we are both into photography, we're hoping for a nice foggy hike. Unfortunately, the weather was beautiful and we didn't get any fog but the hike was great regardless. We took the steep route and made it to the top within 3.5 hours. We stopped once to eat some homemade sandwiches and two more times, to take some pictures of the waterfall. The hike was wonderful and even though it was the steep route, it wasn't too exhausting. Once we made it to the top, we took a couple more pictures there and had a coffee, some cheese cake and a Bockwurst at the restaurant before taking the steam train down the mountain. The train ride down was about 28 Euro a person. Just a wonderful, wonderful day spent!
