Here is one of the Master Distillers hard at work.

My wife and I are on a long trip of the south visiting friends. We came to Franklin as a historic stop but noticed the Leipers Fork Distillery House of Spirit Tasting room that offers not only their offerings, a list various mixes, foods and deserts. This a MUST VISIT if you come to Franklin. The service was amazing, and ambiance with perfect! They also have their Distillery Tour which is about 15 mins away if you have the time. The food was amazing, the flight of whiskey from White (90 Proof), Tennessee Whiskey (100 Proof) to their Bourbon (100 Proof) all wonderful, they also give you a vile with dropper to add water that changes the proof and taste, just amazing! I could go on and on about this place, I absolutely will be back and will bring our local friends. If you visit Franklin, give them a visit you will NOT be disappointed.

We very much enjoyed our time here! Street parking was pretty easy to find and good for 2 hours. The staff were kind and really attentive. We tried the Limoncello Spritz, The Red Heifer and All Gussied Up, all 3 were very refreshing and enjoyable. The spinach dip is very good but a bit watery it needs a little cream cheese in it and it was lukewarm which being in cast iron was surprising. It was delicious though and chips were fresh! The place has a wonderful vibe to gather with people anytime of day! 100% recommend stopping by!

The wait is over. We've been wondering for almost 2 years... will this ever open. And the wait was worthy! It's a gorgeous space. At once casual and luxurious. Wonderful use of barrels, leather, dark wood. It feels as if it has been there forever. The cocktails are wonderful and have a good variety. The food is well above expectations for a "bar menu." Everything was a standout, but the brisket skins and banana pudding were my favorites.

Really nicely done! It's like meeting some friends in a very cool loft, ordering the perfect craft cocktail, and then there's yummy snacks, too. Comfy couches, beautiful art, and so many little touches that really make this place special. And yes, even though they run a whiskey distillery - I enjoyed a great mocktail at their soft opening. A great addition to Main Street!

Good cocktails, friendly service and a neat atmosphere! I really enjoyed the history of the distilling on the wall. We came in late, around last call, and we were still met with a welcome! The only reason why this isn't 5 stars is because both of our drinks were SUPER heavy enough pours. If that's your thing then you will love this place! Another downside is that they don't have any tequila at all, which makes sense because they only sell what they distill.

I like supporting local, instead of any sort of "chain". Overall a solid place, close to home,…read moreand I will be back. The rub last night was they had two bartenders. One knew how to keep track of the different checks/couples, but some folks from our group, felt like we were "bothering" her. The other bartender, just seemed pretty aloof to what was going on. Again, nice place and we will be back, but when you have an intimate/small setting like they do, I would make a small suggestion of being a bit more personable, and being able to keep better track of customer checks.

I like a little of everything - smoky, peaty, sweet - as long as its reasonably smooth and well balanced. Given this preference, I tend to know better than to go with cask strength whiskeys, but I tried their maple wood finished cask strength to be a good sport. And to my surprise it was just perfect - like the extra concentration (57.7% vs the standard 40%) added more flavor rather than more burn. I think it was about $100 a bottle so I grabbed one and decided to check a bag so I could bring it home - it was that good.
