This is a very small gallery, that is very easy to miss. The sign on the main road is big enough, and directs you onto Eshkibok Road. After that, there is no sign on the building. When we got there, Leland Bell was working on a new piece. Very quickly wipes his hands and greats us very warmly. He seemed slightly embarrassed to be caught working. I can't adequately describe what an honor it was to meet the artist personally in the place where he loves to create. Clearly we were the intruders; yet, he was thrilled to have a bit of company. This place is 15 minutes off of highway 6. It is one of my fondest memories of Manitoulin Island. Don't miss it. read more
