We bought the trailer new just after the Camp fire, but due to health reasons were not able to travel as we had planned, so rather than leave it sit in storage we decided to sell it so someone else could enjoy it. I'd fallen in love with a little Retro camper, found one on the Lemke website, and trotted right out there to buy it. It was a fun transaction, believe it or not, thanks to Ty and Phil, but when I drove it, it swayed, which of course they are going to do. I didn't like it. Nor did I like having to drive at 55 mph. So!! These lovely gents got me back in, calmed me down, and promised to work it out. (Oh, Ty.... "What? Don't worry! We'll work it out!") And they did. I am not one for writing reviews, but when a company goes above and beyond I feel they need to be recognized. We purchased a travel trailer from Lemke a few months back and took it out a couple of times. After the rain storm we experienced in Sacramento back in October, I noticed the trailer had leaked. We knew that we purchased the unit "as is" from the Lemke and that they didn't need to make any repairs, but when I called them and spoke with Audra, she said that she would look into it. Long story short, Lemke took the trailer and repaired the leak. It is very difficult to find a business that truly stands behind the product they sell, but Lemke RV is one of those gems. From the purchase with Jay to the excellent customer service from Audra and others at Lemke, I would highly recommend them if you are searching for a travel trailer or RV. I found the perfect trailer online at this lot. Called and spoke to Jay who was very friendly and knowledgeable. I put a small refundable deposit over the phone to hold the trailer for a couple of days until we had time to make the trip up there to check it out. When we got there it was close to their closing time and it was pouring rain. Not ideal Rv shopping weather. Never the less Jay was more than happy to show the trailer. He brought over a generator and started it up so we could turn on the lights and check things out. He never pressured us to hurry up even though we were well past their closing time. Unfortunately we weren't able to make a decision that evening. Jay said he would hold it for a couple more days if we wanted to go look around a bit more. Ended up coming back that and made the purchase that weekend. The walk through process with Dillon was great. I was very impressed with how professional everyone was. We love our trailer. Last week Purchased a travel trailer on consignment with Lemke. Very easy going staff at this family business, no pressure just great service. We are new to owning a trailer and Phil with Lemke spent all the time we needed to know how to use the many appliances and features on our new trailer. Bought a 2009 Winnebago Chalet for full timing. Lemke was outstanding on every level. When I initially called, Linda was friendly and took the time to answer my questions thoroughly. Lemke was able to work with me on financing and it was very easy to work with the bank. Sales was no pressure and very informative. We needed the RV in a hurry, and Jay worked to get it to us quickly and before the holiday season. Even though the RV was purcased as-is, roughly a week after we picked it up we noticed a small leak by the passenger window. Lemke installed rain gutters and fixed a break light with no problems. This place has been a complete headache! I bought a trailer in march and of course they give good service then. First of all, we had to get our loan draft reprinted because they didn't endorse the check right, then we drive down to their bank to make sure it was right. Took 3 tries to get the check cashes. Secondly, it is now July and we have not received the title or dmv paperwork. Lemke RV will not answer our phone calls or call us back. They seem to not know where everything is. They are extremely unprofessional! Will not suggest this place to anyone! read more

Honestly if I could give less stars then 1 I would. My boyfriend and I drove over to this dealership from Reno after seeing a trailer we liked on Craigslist. I interacted with who I believe to be one of the owners as she said her family owned the business. We walked the lot looking through the trailers and finally found the one that we had come there to see. All the while the sales rep saw us though never even acknowledged our existence. We looked at the trailer and decided we liked it but wanted more info. We had to track down the sales lady who was less than eager to help us. Once talking to her we realized we were going to be on our own for finding out anything about this trailer. She couldn't find the keys to show us any of the locked compartments and kept saying well I'll have to ask my husband he knows more about the trailers, yet she never went to get her husband. We also found out that they do not do any inspections on the trailer until you put an offer in, so basically they have no clue what is sitting on their lot. We proceeded to go inside and try to get more info from her and details on the trailer. The office was completely disorganized and the file on the trailer was incomplete having virtually no details on the trailer. I put in a starting offer to begin a negotiation point based on what I had researched for the Suggested Retail of the trailer and she was completely rude and unprofessional saying " What do you want me to make like $10/hr running this business?" She rolled her eyes and huffed and puffed at me to the point where I really had to control what I wanted to say to her. I told her that it was my starting offer and that since this clearly isn't a professional business I no longer wished to do business with them. I have never been treated so poorly by anyone I've tried to do business with. I took my business elsewhere and found a better trailer for a better price. read more

Bought a used rv on consignment. Paid for the inspection to be done before purchasing. If it was actually performed, it would have shown that the black water tank valve did not close all the way. Additionally, there is a serious blockage in the tank which we are still trying to resolve. Post-sale, they did not return our calls. After the inspection was done, we went to pick up the rv and found that most of the things that were supposed to be done, still weren't complete. ie. The rear stabilizer jack was bent. 3rd trip, a new jack was installed, with ONE sheet metal screw holding it on. We noted the trailer brake wires were broken our 1st trip. The 2nd trip they were taped together (not water proofed). The list of over 10 items was resolved by our 3rd self-inspection, minus the septic tank, which we were not able to fill and test ourselves. read more

My husband and I are recently retired. Over the years, we have been looking at motor homes--but not seriously looking, if you know what I mean--it was just "for fun" and "maybe one day". We saw a Class A on the Lemke website that was perfect for us. After looking at it online for a week, we emailed an inquiry on a Friday and received an immediate response from Jay. To our great disappointment, someone was already in the process of purchasing it. A few hours later, Jay called to let us know the buyer changed his mind and the unit was again available. To make a long story short, we drove to the Rocklin lot from Southern California the next morning, arrived before noon, and were on our way home again by 2 pm -- the proud new owners of a very well taken care of motor home. We found Jay to be open, honest, low-pressure (no pressure is more accurate), and very responsive to all our questions, especially considering we have never owned an RV before. He went over the purchasing process in detail and made sure we understood it. When we picked up the unit the next week, a staff member spent over two hours doing the walk through. Lemke is an award-winning family owned/run business and they do it with integrity. Jay told us over the phone we would like how the unit rides and we would not be wasting our time. The 900-mile round trip drive was well worth it. We have some big RV lots near us, but haven't been as impressed as we were with Lemke. Thank you Jay. read more

I'm writing this review despite not purchasing an RV at Lemke. I went into the dealership after finding an RV through their website and started working with Phil to purchase it. Phil went through all the motions hunting down paperwork we needed, getting a bunch of items that my finance company requested that are unusual compared to any other vehicle purchase I've ever done. After a month of him getting everything we needed squared away our plans changed and we backed out of the deal. He never gave us any pressure, communicated well, was friendly from start to finish and gave us a full refund on the deposit we'd put down. We will go back to him and Lemke when we are ready to make an RV purchase in the future. read more

My daughter bought a 2018 5th wheel in march. What a nightmar e. When RV was delivered they forgot to bring keys. No one at Lemkeys would drive them up to her, she had to drive 30 miles one way to get them. No one stayed to level the trailer or go through walk thru with her. Trailer would not level. Doors will not close. Shower leaks and floods bathroom. Kitchen sink leaks. Awning will not open, Outside decals peeling. Outlets don't work. At first she was speaking with Phil, the General Manager, who took care of the problems. But since the problems are daily, his response to her has been very delayed and has had no response. She called the store and spoke with a somewhat,(his words) manager. He was very rude to her, speaking over her, and telling her that they have bent over backwards for her and she needs to find her warranty paperwork. She told him she feels like they sold her a lemon and his comment was, lemons are only for new vehicles. What great customer service. I then called and spoke to the somewhat manager, Mark. I told him that my daughter said he was rude to her and that set him off. He accused me of threatening him and making excuses for his company not responding to her. My son then got on the phone because he lives with her and has been there and seen the issues, but Mark started over talking my son and wouldn't listen. My son started to get irritated because Mark was again being rude and used the F word. Then Mark went off and used the F word several times to my 18 year old son, very unprofessional. My daughter then called me to tell me she found her paperwork and surprise, surprise, in her paperwork was the former owners warranty repairs. Guess what Mark. ALL of the warranty work that the former owner had are the EXACT same issue my daughter is having now. Some of the previous owners issues had to be warrantied more than once. not a lemon, huh Mark???? The thing is, is that Lemkey RV had all of this warranty repair paper work and just stuck it in the envelope with my daughters signed loan paperwork. MY daughter is 25 and this was her first major purchase on her own and I feel like Lemkey RV had knowledge of these problems and took advantage of my daughter. Also, when I asked Mark for the owners name, his comment was, "well the name of the company is Lemkey, so I guess it's a Lemkey." I asked for the owners first name and he refused to give me the name of the owner. I'm sorry, but if you are that prized on your family business you shouldn't be ashamed for your employees to give out your name. read more
