I had the pleasure of being treated here from a friend and we both were glad to come here. The staff greeted us upon entering and answered any questions I had about the food. I got the lamb gyro combo and it was amazing! The fries and sauce really stood out. You can taste the various herbs in that sauce and combing it with the fries was a solid! The lamb gyro had a beautiful mix of flavor, nothing was overpowering. I have not had Mediterranean food in a long time and this reminded me of the amazing Mediterranean spots I would frequent back in Rancho Cucamonga. They had indoor and outdoor seating which is close to the farmers market. Once done eating you can enjoy a nice walk around the area. It's in a nice spot to sit and eat for sure. Burnt, dry chicken, clumpy rice, and onions all over my food when I specifically asked for no onions -- twice. Any self respecting restaurant would have never sent that out of the kitchen. A bunch of kids working at this place with no oversight or quality control. read more

Uhhhhh-MAZING!!!! (See what I did there?..... Amazing!) We were on our way to our usual favorite, Rosemarino, when we realized it was European "siesta" time between 2-4pm and they were closed. So THANK YOU, Yelp and Google Maps for sending us on the mini-adventure through a random alley, around a corner and onto a small street facing a random rusted-out industrial building...... There was a small sign and a wide open door that gave us enough confidence to explore inside. And WOW! So glad we did. The owners were working behind the counter... super friendly people. Apparently they used to have a very popular food cart. They had an opportunity to take over this former rustic pizza place, and thank God they did! Incredible food with nice portions that left you full... but the flavors that left you wanting even more! This is going to be a new favorite for us! read more

I tried Lemon & Olive for the first time today. They just opened their new location yesterday. We ordered the chicken gyro (minus the onion), spanakopita, chocolate hazelnut baklava, and the feta zaatar potatoes. My favorite was the potatoes and the harrisa aoili - amazing flavors! Everything we had was fresh. Their location is tucked away from the busy street in a cute little building with cozy seating.. I look forward to trying more of their menu soon. read more

Delicious!!! The ambiance is causal but delightful and the food was out of this world tasty! It's not a quick grab a go, they make per order and with a lot of care, so it'll take a little time. If you're tight on time I recommend ordering ahead. But if you have time to linger, do! Enjoy the ambiance, corn hole or a bevvie. And come hungry. You'll be glad you did. New fave spot. this place is really good and i have very little issue with it - but i do want to soap box just a tad about the "pnw" experience of food lately. where the food is incredible, i find it to be at a price point that is not reflective of its ambiance. if this is something you do not care about, more power to you. this is just the struggle of the rise of "fast casual" that i think chipotle popularized, but portland created. as this concept has grown, it has become a positive for the restaurant industry, but a negative for the common consumer. should the restaurant that doesn't pour your soda or bus your table expect a tip? my local facebook group tells me yes and that i am a trump supporter for saying otherwise. again, lemon and olive, i am sorry that this is where this had to land, i am just thinking to myself that this place shows what a culture shift has brought us to. expensive dining without the service to go with it. love and care is clearly put into the food, and the set up here allows for folks to watch the team putting dishes together. but LEMON AND OLIVE is held back by impersonal service - something that i adore about the restaurant experience. please don't take this to say service was impolite or bad - it is only that this becomes a prom night destination that can charge 33% more with full service. a price tag i would gladly pay considering the building is beautiful. It's a casual dining experience where you order your food before sitting down. Recommended getting the platter as you get to taste both the chicken and gyro meat. The proteins were very flavorful and seasoned well. read more

This place is adorable and has DELICIOUS food. I was so happy to have Mediterranean food that is close to us and oh soooo good. We had the shawarma, falafel, hummus etc. All of it was wonderful. The inside is small with some tables outside, so take out may be a good option when seating is full. The service was great with everyone behind the counter willing to grab you anything you need. Wait time for food was average, 15m. My only wish, French fries that came with combo were hotter, ours were cold. Casual dining. Order food at counter and they'll buzz beeper when order is ready. Wow. I almost have no words. We've been gyro obsessed for a little bit and tried this place since we were in the area. The gyro was so big and full of fresh flavor in every bite. Huge chunks of feta. Such a cute food cart with really friendly service. Full disclosure: I'm married to a Syrian, so I am a bit picky when it comes to Arabic food or even Arab-adjacent food. I wanted something healthy, so I ordered a chicken salad for lunch. It was ready quickly. It smelled great in the car on the way back to work. However, overall the salad was meh. I just moved to Dundee and this was my first stop. We could not have picked a better place! Tara and Robert were so friendly and inviting.
