I have been a client with Strategic Legal Practices since November 2023, and after all this time, I…read morestill don't even know who my assigned attorney is. Not once has an attorney contacted me to introduce themselves, explain my case, provide updates, or answer my questions. Every update I've received has been because I spent hours calling, waiting in phone queues, requesting callbacks, and repeatedly sending repair invoices, dealership diagnoses, and every document they've requested. This has been going on since 2023. For a law firm of this size, the lack of communication is unacceptable. Clients are expected to trust their legal team, but how can we when there is virtually no communication? The breaking point came with my court hearing on Monday, July 13, 2026. A few days before the hearing, I called to confirm everything was still scheduled and to verify the courthouse because my paperwork listed Chatsworth Courthouse, but the address underneath showed 300 E. Walnut St., Pasadena. I specifically asked which location I should report to. The representative told me that if an address was listed, then that was the correct location. That call should be recorded because it is exactly what I was told. Following their instructions, I drove to Pasadena, paid for parking, and arrived before my 8:30 a.m. hearing. When I checked the courtroom, my case wasn't on the calendar. I had been sent to the wrong courthouse because of incorrect information from Strategic Legal Practices. I immediately searched my case on the LA Superior Court website and discovered the hearing was actually in Chatsworth. By then it was already around 9:00 a.m. I joined the hearing remotely by phone while walking back to my car. GPS estimated another 40-minute drive to Chatsworth. During that drive, I repeatedly called Strategic Legal Practices for nearly 30 minutes because this was clearly an emergency. No one answered. I left an urgent voicemail asking for an immediate callback while staying connected to the courtroom by phone. Eventually, my case was called... My own attorney wasn't even present. After waiting nearly three years for this day, taking time off work, preparing for court, and making every effort to attend, I was left sitting in a courtroom call with no legal representation. I was frustrated, confused, and honestly too overwhelmed to even know what to say. By the time I arrived at Chatsworth around 10:00 a.m., court had already ended. Then around 10:15 a.m., I finally received a call--not from my attorney--but from the offers department. The representative claimed a settlement offer had been emailed to me early that morning. I checked my inbox while still on the phone. Nothing. She insisted it had already been sent, but it hadn't. She explained the offer over the phone, and I immediately told her it was unacceptable. My vehicle has been in the dealership approximately 9-10 times, leaving me without transportation for an estimated 9-13 weeks. I was never provided a rental vehicle and had to figure everything out on my own. What made it even worse was that earlier in my case, the Client Experience team explained that recoveries could potentially be worth up to three times the purchase price of the vehicle, including taxes, registration, insurance, and related costs. After reviewing this offer, it wasn't even close. It honestly felt like they were trying to settle my case as quickly as possible instead of fighting for me. I told the representative there was no way I would accept the offer and demanded to speak with my attorney. She said she'd submit a request. I asked her to stay on the phone until someone called me back because I've heard promises of callbacks countless times before. Instead, after a few moments of silence, she disconnected the call. Again... no attorney. No explanation. No communication. I've remained patient since November 2023, but enough is enough. I should not have to chase my own legal team for updates, verify court information myself, show up to the wrong courthouse because of incorrect instructions, appear in court without my attorney present, and then be encouraged to accept a settlement that doesn't reflect the time, stress, inconvenience, and financial burden I've endured. This isn't based on one bad day. It's based on nearly three years of poor communication, lack of accountability, and feeling completely ignored as a client. I sincerely hope someone at Strategic Legal Practices finally reads this because I've spent years trying to speak with my attorney with little to no success. At the end of the day, all I wanted was communication, honesty, and representation that made me feel like my case mattered. Unfortunately, I cannot honestly say I've received any of those.

We purchased a Ford F-250 diesel . We thought we were purchasing the vehicle that would take us well into our retirement with no problems. About 8000 miles after our purchase we had to take our vehicle in for an oil leak. Which ended up being the beginning of 6 more trips to the dealer for the same warranted problem on top of a Turbo replacement. FRUSTRATION doesn't even begin to explain the feeling. Never thinking of a lawsuit, until the oil leak happened a final time 2 months after the warranty expired. Ford gave us a quote of over 2000.00 to fix the very problem they had been repairing for 4+ years. Even after we brought this to their attention, (although they seriously knew us by name because of all the visits) still NOT ONE OFFER of anything to fix this problem for us. Feeling somewhat powerless, this was about the time we began to receive information on the vehicle being part of a Lemon Law. The card we got from O'Connor & Mikhov LLP was informative enough to get our attention and straight forward enough that we felt comfortable to make the call. From the very first call this group of Lawyers were very professional, helpful, and encouraging. Making us feel like we may actually get a little restitution from Ford. Seth, Roger Michael, David and others were always friendly and all treated us with respect, diligently handling details and keeping us informed through the process. My experience with a Knight Law Group was a most excellent one! I would gladly give them 5 stars for their professionalism as every customer service agent I spoke to was well-informed and sympathetic to my lemon law claim. I called into the law firm on occasion and each time I was able to speak to someone and felt like my concerns were important to them. As a person who has been in the legal field over 5 years now I can tell you that that is a rarity. Not to say that lawyers and law firms avoid their clients but very often support personnel are nothing short of sounding boards but at the Knight Law Group they kept me abreast of every development in my case. my claim was the result of an advertisement that I responded to from the Knight Law Group almost 2 years ago. I signed the representation agreement and the case proceeded from there. Unfortunately there were many stops and starts in the litigation process due to the complex nature of this case which meant that settlement in resolution would take a lot longer than expected. This is just a part of life as a consumer litigant and as a paralegal that I've seen firsthand. My case was bundled together so to speak with hundreds of other similar situated litigants and it proceeded at a snail's pace. Our experience with Knight Law Group (formerly O'Connor & Mikhov) began with a letter we received from them in early 2016. The letter offered for them to potentially represent us in legal proceedings against American Honda Motors for the airbag inflator issue on our 2010 CR-V. We had received recall notices for first the driver's and then six months later for the passenger's side inflators from Honda but the parts were unavailable. We were never told by Honda that we could get a loaner vehicle until the parts were available since our vehicle was a potential death trap if we were in an accident. We finally contacted O'Connor & Mikhov in September, 2016. Everyone who we worked with at (now known as) Knight Law Group was professional and explained what was needed from us to proceed with a Lemon Law lawsuit against Honda including what the potential settlement might look like if we prevailed in court. They also explained how long the process would take and kept us posted with updates. We had all of the documentation and names and dates of our interactions with Honda which is essential if you ever need to take legal action. Early this year (2018) Crystal Rivas called me with Honda's settlement offer which far exceeded our expectations! The offer included Honda buying back our CR-V including the finance charges from Honda Financial plus an additional cash settlement. Compare that to Honda's class action offer of $500 cash if an owner wanted to be included in that class settlement. We were delivered our settlement check today and we are extremely pleased! I was having trouble with the transmission of my new 2015 Jeep Cherokee trail hawk. I had only had it for 2 1/2 Years. I took it in 3 times for transmission problems, and was getting no answers. First, they said it needed a software update. Everything seemed to be fine and 3 days later I was having the same problem, all lights on dashboard blinking, deceleration, and when shifting the whole car moved as if some one had hit me. I took it to the dealership a 2nd time and they said this time it was the TCM ( transmission computer module) that needed to be replaced, they had the car one week at the shop, at pickup once again 1 week later I had the same problem AGAIN (3rd time). This time they said it was the battery. At this point I was so frustrated and wasn't driving my card comfortably anymore thinking it could happen at any given time, I started looking into CA lemon law and I came across Knight Law Group. I figured I could call them to get advice on what to do. Gloria Orozco, was great, she advised me step by step on what to do and what my rights were. Just want to say Thank you to all the staff of O'Connor & Mikhov...Kevin, Stephanie, Seth and David for all there hard work. It was a year and a half ago when I called there office. I received a letter regarding a possible Lemon Law case on my vehicle which is a 2009 GMC Acadia. I can say that I proabably received about 4 or maybe 5 letters then I finally called the office. I thought to myself what have I got to lose. So I gave it a shot. I spoke with David on the phone and he was so pleasant. After reviewing my repair report printout from GMC he assured me that I had a great case. After more than 50 visits to GMC with warranty repair issues he said we had a strong case so we proceeded to process the case. I waited for about over a year after that and my case is finally over. GMC was able to settle at 100% buyback on my car and paid the full balance owed on it and also paid all my attorney fees. After 5 years of driving my car I felt like I was driving it for free. Thank you O'Connor & Mikhov !! The process was longer than I expected (3 years 2 months) but the settlement was far greater than I ever imagined. I was the frustrated owner of a 2004 Ford 6.0 Diesel Super Duty that had numerous mechanical issues, some of which repeated themselves several times. My daughter purchased her first car, 2013 Dodge Dart. It had all the bells and whistles. Not even 2 weeks after she bought it, she started having problems. Almost 2 years after the purchase, I received a letter from O'Connor & Milkov Group, regarding the lemon law. I gave them a call and luckily I saved all my service records and receipts. I purchased a 2013 Hyundai Accent brand new from the dealer for my 18 year old daughter. Shortly after I purchased the engine light went on. It supposedly was a filter on the bottom and Hyundai of Temecula said it wouldn't be covered because of excess dirt. The car was 6 months old. The engine light kept going on for the next years with nothing or really small things wrong. It finally stopped going it since the last time I took it in. I got an advertisement from the Knight Group and thought it was worth looking into. Jorge helped me and was so informative. My experience with the Knight Law Group was amazing!! The process took a little over a year but it was all well worth the wait. This is my story. I had purchased a 2012 certified used Chevrolet Cruz and within a month the vehicle began having issues which continued there after for the next four years. We generally avoid lawsuits and, in fact, have not been part of any personal law suit. But we bought a new car because of its safety features advertised by the corporation and underscored by the dealership sales force. It turned out to be a lemon with a major defect that had injured and even killed people. This was known by them 5 years before we bought the car. Where do I start? Many thanks to Seth Manders, Victor Vera, Maria Estrada-Lopez, Alejandra Dickerson and Yvette Ybarra for all of the help in settling with GMC on our 2013 GMC Acadia Denali. Seth told me initially how the whole process worked, how long it would take and how successful they were in settling with this particular vehicle. Submitted all of my records and waited. Some time around April of 2017 I got the call from the law firm telling me that the case was settled. I was shocked because I also received additional damages along with GM fully purchasing the vehicle back from me. The GMC dealer in Riverside was in shock when they saw the final settlement on the paperwork. My comment was that all I asked GM for was to extend the warranty and they refused. As I told Alejandra Dickerson when she called me about the settlement, "things like this just don't happen to us..." About a week ago I received a letter in the mail from Knight Law Group regarding an old Chevy Camaro that I had owned and how I might be entitled to compensation because of problems with the model I had. Shortly after, I received a phone call from Yuslic regarding the letter. I was unable to speak at the time so she asked if she could call me back at a later time. When we spoke again, Yuslic told me about the California Lemon Law and how even though I no longer owned the vehicle, I could still be entitled to compensation if I had to take it in for an issue more than twice. Although I hadn't, she informed me that the same rules apply to any vehicle that I own or have owned. I really can't speak enough on how professional and informative Yuslic was in educating me on a subject I didn't even know about. When I received a letter from Knight Law Group a couple years ago stating that my 2009 Honda Fit may be in violation of California Lemon Laws, I was a bit skeptical that anything would come of it. But I signed on as a client and let KLG work their magic. As it turns out, I'd been driving a dangerous vehicle for almost 10 years, one that could fatally injure myself or my front seat passenger from a faulty airbag. I didn't have to pay any costs up front and all I had to do was provide them proof of ownership and the costs I paid for the vehicle. My first conversation with Knight Law Group was back in late 2016. I had actually found out my Honda CRV 2007 was included in the Air bag recall and was a danger to drive. Yes, I found out from Knight Law Group before Honda. Honda eventually sent me the recall noticed a week later.
