5 stars Outstanding Service from Shane at the Brody Lane…read moreJiffy Lube - Truly Exceptional! I stopped in at the Jiffy Lube on Brodie Lane on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026 around 2pm for a routine oil change, and I have to say, the level of service I received was far beyond what I expected from a quick lube stop. From the moment I pulled up, the team was efficient, professional, and genuinely attentive. What really stood out was associate Shane. He went above and beyond to make the entire experience smooth and reassuring. Shane took the time to thoroughly explain every step of the Signature Service Oil Change, including what he was checking and why. He walked me through the multi-point inspection results with clear details--no upselling pressure, just honest, helpful information about my vehicle's condition. His knowledge, friendly demeanor, and attention to detail made me feel like my car was in truly capable hands. The service was completed quickly without feeling rushed, and everything was done with care and precision. The bay was clean, the staff was courteous, and I appreciated how Shane double-checked that all fluids were at the proper levels and that the cabin air filter and wiper blades were in good shape. He even offered practical driving tips for the upcoming weather, which showed real thoughtfulness. In a world where many auto service places feel transactional, Shane and the team at this Brody Lane location delivered outstanding, personalized service that made me feel valued as a customer. If you're in the area and need an oil change (or any quick maintenance), do yourself a favor and ask for Shane--you won't be disappointed. I'll definitely be returning to this location and recommending them to friends and family. Huge thanks to Shane for turning a simple oil change into a five-star experience! They proceeded to let much oil collect on the frame that ended up on my driveway. 3. Upon return they put in 1 quart too much oil and I had to have another company suck oil out of engine. 4. They removed the under cover panel again and overtightened the bolts with an improper impact wrench. Wrong tool for the job. 5. After using my supplied oil they kept my remaining oil instead of putting the container back in the truck bed. 6. They measure oil in engine by wiping finger on dip stick. If they see oil on their finger the oil level is good. 7. I give them 2 stars due to hot weather. 8. I saved money for 40 years to buy my dream truck and this is a good place to destroy it. I will never allow them to touch my vehicles again.

I had purchased my tires from them when I was getting Big Blue serviced. Wifey had been to our local Firestone and was always treated well, so popped up. Walked in the door and immediately greeted by William at around 10am. I mentioned what the issue was and he immediately jumped into action and asked if he could look himself. Out we went and quickly he found a screw in my tire. Immediately put me at ease and told me that this was completely fixable. Back inside he put together the service ticket. It would be about an hour wait and perhaps 30 minute fix. My bad, I didn't bring my laptop, since they had complimentary wifi. Also, some complementary cold water, I did rue the fact I had left my Yeti with coffee siting in my office at the casa. I pulled up a seat and nestled in. Discovery on the TV had Oak Island Treasure show, what a lot of bollock that is. People watching as almost as good as being in the Social Security office. Entertained myself and then was called up to look at what all they had found. A very soft offer to add a new air cleaner, oil change and one other item, which I declined. I mean everyone does this, no matter it being a little irritating to be reviewed. Just stood my ground and politely declined. I was trading my car in the next month or so for the new 2027 QX65, so these items would be taken care of by the dealership. I noticed my car up in the bay and not to long after it scooted by to be parked and picked up. The only tiny little suggestion, it was another 15mins after the car was parked, that the ticket came up to William to check me out. He was also with another walk in at that point. Pro-tip, next time I will get there when they open, since I think this tire patch would have only been 30 mins. It overall was a pleasant experience, it does do a lot of walk up traffic, so plan accordingly. You could leave your car with them and they will call you when ready. I'll be back if needed! Out the door for $32, job done!

Review for Firestone Complete Auto Care - East Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock, TX…read more I recently took my daughter's vehicle to this Firestone location for their advertised $19 A/C service check. The service manager claimed they could not perform the check because their machine "detected two types of refrigerant" in the system. This raised red flags, so I contacted several other Firestone locations and spoke with multiple managers and A/C technicians. Every single one told me they had never heard of a system that can detect refrigerant type in this way. When I called the general manager of the East Palm Valley location to address my concerns, he became argumentative rather than offering a clear explanation. The impression I was left with is that this store uses the $19 A/C check as a bait-and-switch tactic--claiming there's an issue, then telling you that you need more Freon before they can proceed, which conveniently raises the cost to over $400. My advice: be cautious. Ask questions, get a second opinion, and don't fall for upsell tactics that don't make sense.

After their inspection, I approved additional repairs and paid $2,006.64, picking up the car on Nov. 17. Within days, the leak was worse. Instead of one leak, I now had two, along with a strong burning-oil smell while driving. I returned on Nov. 21 and was told it was just leftover oil and that everything had been cleaned. That same evening, I discovered the car was leaking from three different places. I brought the car back again on Dec. 2. After no communication all day, I called and was told they found another leaking gasket and wanted an additional $400. I was also told that "oil leaks are tricky on Volkswagens," but a properly diagnosed repair should not turn one leak into multiple new leaks in a matter of days. At this point, I declined further work. I paid over $2,000 and ended up with a car in worse condition than when I brought it in. I requested a refund in writing and never received a response. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop.

I bring up that brake issue because it eventually became a pattern of dropping the ball, and repeated issues 1. My car had to be towed because basic logic well known issue for GMC/Chevy 6.2 liter V8 engines have a lifter issue which requires engine replacement. The car wasn't in bad shape as you say. Cadillac dealership said I should have it towed due to the knocking sound. My car has always been kept immaculate. Yes you quoted a fair price, it was Lambs in Lakeway that was ridiculous and most people know they are. The engine took long because they sent the wrong engine and in regards to my finances it wasn't I couldn't pay . I was at the mercy of you and I was nothing but polite every single interaction with you. Your dropped the ball so many times and you actually asked me for advance payment at one point because you needed to pay your taxes . I didn't want to pay you UPFRONT Frank. You fix then pay, that's most every way it's done . You didn't have the money to cover costs which is a concern regarding running a business. I had also just spent money on another car repair and boat repairs . The car sat as I decided what I wanted to do. As far as stating you could have charged me storage you never once mentioned that and I have every phone call that proves that. Pretty shady of you to pull that out on your reply here. Again not on single time did you ever mention storage fees. So please don't act as if it was some favor you did. The car went in for an engine replacement. As you confirmed the day you put the engine in to test drive you call me telling me I need steering column replacement. Yes I have you on recording Frank stating that indeed the lift and big tires were the culprit. The steering was completely fine and it had not been driven once per you as we waited for the engine issue and replacement to be resolved. You now understand why I recorded you. You can't remember what you told me. I didn't struggle to pay you. I had a boat in repair and another car a Range Rover in repair. I communicated to you very professionally. By the way let's remember you had me pay up front on everything. It was the engine that was ordered that was delayed. 2. Regarding the transmission line. Let the public see this post. I pick up my car from Frank and I make it about a quarter to half a mile or so down road and what becomes the problem is the transmission line. Frank I have that call to you recorded as well and your claim that I accelerated or false and blew the line is total BS. It had nothing to do with big tires. I'm saving all my facts, statements from GM certified techs , and video of your guy coming over to "fix" it. Within a day or 2 it went out again and I made you tow it for free. It was your guy that you sent and had him do what he did and sent me on my way and that all was fine only to have it sent back to you. By the way on our recorded call you tried to lead me to believe with certainty it was one thing when in fact you were wrong and called me with another reason. Again grateful I recorded both those conversations. The reputable mechanics I discussed were my brothers out of Houston. My brother owns a professional garage and luxury and collector car biz for 22 years. The other reputable people was a connection I had out of A Cadillac dealer in Dallas. I mentioned this to you and so logically my car stayed locally with you. 3. The whole issue about you spending 200 for the detail I will just say to anyone reading this look at the pics of my Escalade left in his care. Never should have happened Frank. By the way I took a time stamp video of my car before it went back to you. I didn't spill the oil. That's a regular engine oil. Why would I need engine oil to leave in my backseat after you just repaired and did an engine replacement. Again shady of you to blame that on me. And by the way I had to waste 3 hours of my work day sitting there waiting on a detail. Completely unprofessional. 4. I asked you you fix my windshield wiper motor while you had it. You never did. I kept asking you very time you had the car and I have your texts alone that show you forgot several times. same thing Frank regarding the transmission thermostat. I asked you several times, you came out to fix my running board and forgot to get the transmission thermostat and windshield motor. Again pretty crazy you fixed my transmission yet our texts show you dropping the ball on the thermostat. I have lost count on the amount of texts I have that show you never show up on time. I'm done with my response. I'll update this post after claims court.
